This is a good option for lunch at the Fifth Avenue Mall. I like the combo bowl with a variety of noodles :).

Souper Bowl. I had better, but it is great for mall food court material! I had their chicken curry and their seafood curry. Both of them were great. I also had a couple of their sushi rolls, which was a good change from the usual things I was eating in Alaska. I ate there twice and I would eat there again if I had to eat in the food court.

I love this place and with the temps dipping down now its really going to be a good thing. Tonight i had the dumpling soup, add a splash of the Rooster and its a darn fine thing. Cant wait to go back. This is always a good choice. They should look at expanding around Anchorage. Because its hard to find Pho or hot pot place in Anchorage, even though its a cold weather city..

First of all, let me start off by acknowledging that for an American food court stand, Souper Bowl is very good. Why do I feel that it merits only three stars, then? Well, after you've eaten a lot of sushi at good Japanese places, your tolerance for average sushi is very low. Sadly, the sushi on offer here is not great. The mixed soup -- wontons, dumplings, soba noodles, bean sprouts and other mixed veg in a chicken broth -- was pretty good, though. Next time, I'll skip the sushi and just try a large soup.

Yes this is a mall food stand. Yes it's in the 2nd most annoying mall to go to for the sheer number of teenyboppers (Dimond Center being the first). But damn if their seafood noodle soup isn't delicious as all gets out. The broth is oddly refreshing, the noodles are the right consistency and the seafood is plentiful. it's the alternative to pho when you don't want to stink all over the place. The Japanese style curry is good here too. Love this place.

Tasty and healthy. I ordered the veggie tofu noodle soup..the vegetable broth is OK, but needs a bit of additions to make it better. Service is fast though, which is nice and the price is reasonable. It's definitely a better option for mall food.

I'm not really sure how this place gets such a high mark. I ordered a rainbow row but ended up getting something . The sushi rolls were soaky and the roll itself falls apart as you try and pick them up. It didn't have much taste. Cashier didn't seem friendly at all. Two nasty rolls for $25 is just hard to swallow.

The crunch roll I got here is the best one I have had in Anchorage at any restaurant. It was so flavorful and perfect! I tried there dumpling and wonton soup with rice noodles and was not impressed whatsoever. I wouldn't come here for soup, but I sure would come for a sushi roll! That is why they get the four stars :) If it was solely based off the soup it would get 2 stars. Try it out, you will be happy :)

This is by far my favorite eating place in the mall. The first time I came I ordered the tofu noodle soup and also bought extra broth just because it's that good (especially after a night out). This time I went with the wonton noodle soup and crunch roll. Absolutely fresh and wonderful. The service is just as good as the food too!

I went to Fifth Avenue Mall to do my birthday shopping with all those January coupons. Souper Bowl, again, was the highlight of my trip. I got my usual Mixed wonton/ dumpling pho with rice noodles and an order of spring rolls. I liked the change to the spring rolls; they have the usual shrimp, which I don't eat, and have replaced the Krab with your choice of vegetable, chicken or avocado. I got the avocado. Again a perfect meal in a beautiful, light, airy and clean dining area. All for 12.50 + tip. I couldn't help but compare this soup and sale to the horrible salad form the Texas Roadhouse I recently wasted my money on; same price, very different experience!!!

Every time I go to the 5th Avenue Mall I make a trip upstairs to grab the dumpling and wonton soup. I love that you can get extra wontons or dumplings added for a nominal fee. Yummy!

This is consistently been one of my favorite places to go in Anchorage fifth Avenue mall. It is always fresh The service is always polite. Their soup is really yummy, and I like the option of noodles. Their sushi is made to order. This isn't fancy, authentic, pan Asian, it's just good food at a reasonable price.

I eat here almost everyday! It's cheap but believe it or not their sushis are way better than the ones in the restaurant! I love the soups as well... Plus you can customize your own roll, just tell em what ingredient you want to add on it ! :))

This joint is in the mall. It's mall food. The soup was only OK because I'm vegetarian and usually the veggies aren't enough to save it. I'd only come here again if I was in a pinch for time or something.

I have been here 3 times now. So i feel i can give a good review. The food is excellent, especially since it is in the mall. They make every thing while you wait so it is nice and fresh. The spring rolls are really nice and the coup is wonderful, but the curry is my favorite. The thing that is not so good is it is a little high priced for mall food. Also they put the rice in the same container as the food. So it absorbs all the sauce. If you do not want to eat all the rice, then you loose a lot of the really good sauce. They should just put it in a separate container. Next time i will ask for it to be separate. Well, worth going here though.
