The reviews kept me away for a long time, but I decided to try is since it is close and I wanted breakfast for lunch. :) The service was friendly and prompt. I had pancakes, eggs over-medium, and bacon. The food came out quickly and the bacon was particularly good. It was a nice place to linger for a bit without feeling rushed. It was pretty quiet with only a few tables in use on this weekday. I agree that the decor is dated and needs some work, but it was plenty fine enough for a diner I'd say. I will likely return again on a day where I want a quiet lunch and chill a little.

The food here is delicious!! Served hot and quickly. The gravy they make is amazing. AND THEY DELIVER BREAKFAST!! Better than Gwennies

New owners, good food, good portions. So far I'm enjoying going, and will return a few more times with an updated review.

For a dive diner this place makes good food. Smells a little...divey ;)but hey that's why we likethese places right? Good breakfast, had the two egg breakfast with pancakes, plus the biscuit & gravy (it's cold so taking it to go) and my bf had eggs Benedict, which he gives a 5, plus a corn beef hash

Despite it's rustic appearance and slightly high prices, I like the service and the food comes quickly.

Yuk Yuk Yuk. Dunno where to start; so I'm not.

Absolutely not fresh, full of grease and butter, including the side of fruit that I had to spit out. The coffee was brown flavored water, didn't drink and returned. The menu coverings made my fingers stick together. The environment inside was filthy. The tomatoes in my omelet were old. Will never go here again nor recommend it to anyone. I went with an open mind as a friend wanted to go, yuk.

Not the most fancy place in town, but our food was hot, tasty and served VERY fast. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a great breakfast. You won't leave hungry!

Basic diner fare. The pancakes are good. Omelets are ok. Coffee is meh. Decent hash browns. You do get a whole lot of food though and there is never a line.

This place is disgusting and the service is the worst. Do not eat at this place. I used to eat at this same location under the name Alaska Breakfast Club. It was a good eat then, now it is disgusting. I should have known when the place was empty on a Saturday night.

Where to start with place? Well, unfortunately, this is one of the few places that delivers breakfast, if not THE only place in Anchorage. The man that answers the phone for deliveries speaks broken up English, talks very fast, and cuts you off when you speak. His name is Young, or Yung? Not sure on spelling, anyhow, he got nasty with me when I asked why he couldn't split up our order between 2 cards. There was no management on site at the time of the call which was roughly between 8AM-830AM. Yung told me that "If I want call complain, you call back talk to my supavisah". I also asked him for EXTRA syrup for my pancakes, and what I got was less than HALF of a little cup of syrup, I feel that this was a slap in the face because I was asking him too many questions about why I couldn't pay with 2 credit cards. This place is a disgrace, their food is mediocre best!

DO NOT EAT HERE. We just ate here for the first time for dinner and my wife and I both got food poisoning. Of course, that was without even taking a bite into the chicken finger that was completely raw in the middle. Seriously, the food tasted gross and I should have known as I ate it that I would regret it later. If you like paying for food poisoning, this is the place for you. Of course, maybe their breakfast isn't bad since that is hard to screw up, but I'll never go back to find out.

Lily's is not bad, I have eaten here many times over the years. Some time ago it was called the Anchorage Breakfast Club. It is very basic. Nothing fancy. Good breakfast and an ok lunch.

Lily's makes very good pancakes. The rest seems to be fairly standard diner fare, but I really enjoy the pancakes here. The service is classic Americana: a crotchety but nice old lady who pours you coffee every three minutes and calls you "hon". The crowd is local, mostly older. It's a nice place to go in the morning and enjoy.

Great pancakes, I had the corned beef hash breakfast with hash browns and pancakes. The pancakes are so soft and fluffy and my hash browns were nice and crispy. I left my plate empty and I left the place satisfied!!! I will definitely be coming back!!!

I am sorry to do this, but it is for your own good. If you are here in Anchorage, and driving on East Tudor, (and the place does look inviting) as you drive by, DO NOT STOP!!!! I tried it 2 times, and got food poisoning 2 times. I tried to be fair. I think Hillary Clinton works here.

Pretty basic but good. I will go there over a big name like IHOP or Denny's any day. They don't do substitutions really, but the blueberry pancake special was great. Utensiles are a little bit drab.

(Okay in all honesty, I only came to this restaurant because it's called Lily's :P) I was very interested in the Sourdough blueberry pancakes on the menu. The dish comes with 3 pancakes and bacon or sausage, but I just really wanted to try a pancake. The waitress obliged and gave me one $5 pancake. It was big! The texture was decent, though the bottom was a little tough and made it hard to cut. It was unmistakably sourdough, which is definitely a weird flavor for something typically sweet. Maybe if you're a big fan of sweet and sour, but it didn't really work for me. Glad I got to try it though!

Ever feel so rich, like you can hold out your arms and be measured for clothing? That's how I feel when I order breakfast for delivery from here; it's an unmatched luxury rarely experienced by many. Is the food great? No, but it is good and sometimes that's all you need. I've ordered from here a few times with the telephone service decent and the food delivered hot. I usually get cakes, sausage, and eggs and I've been pretty satisfied. Will order for breakfast again when I feel the need to heed the call of the rich and famous.

I'm very disappointed with Lily's today. My co-workers and I typically pick a few days a month when we get together and order lunch. Today I ordered the Super Chef salad, the same salad that I ordered from Lily's last time. I should have learned my lesson previously when one of my 2 Oz. Containers of ranch was curdled and separated but I figured hey..it was a fluke. First of all, my $12 salad became a $22 salad after asking for black olives and pickles to be added. Apparently they charge $1 per every 2 Oz container of heavily watered down ranch as well. The driver took an hour to deliver it and we work LITERALLY 6 minutes away. Lastly, what little lettuce was in my salad was wilted and brown. Needless to say we won't be placing an order there again.

Great breakfast. Good service. Enjoyed the Swedish Pancakes and reindeer sausage. All delicious. Coffee is good in a 9 degree day. Recommend the pancakes - had the short stack. A perfectly good place to have breakfast.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and was pleasantly surprised. I do believe I was the only tourist in at the time, as it had plenty of obvious repeat locals. (And, friendly locals too! A few pointed out the specials to me) It is close to a few hotels, 1 exit away off Seward Hwy.1, and recommended by the front desk. At 1st I was a little taken back by the prices, most of the breakfast listed are un the $9-$12 range... For a Las Vegas boy, that's steep, but later, after checking the area, it is average. (They do have many specials listed on white boards by the register!!) The coffee was fresh, hot and tasty. A great start! The waitress was amazing, friendly and professional. Seemed to know most of the customers if not all. My breakfast was the Country Fried Steak & Eggs. Nice portions, cooked perfectly, and the the gravy was outstanding. This is a great break from the typical hotel muffins and toast you get in the lobby. Recommend

My husband and I received a flier in the mail last week and the menu looked so yummy. We decided to try them out for breakfast and I can't believe we spent $50 with tip for food that was less than average. I ordered the NY Steak with rice, eggs, sourdough bread, and a side of corned beef hash. The steak was described as "tender and cooked just the way you like it." I ordered medium and when I got it the steak was well done and the steak was tough. We will never come back here.
