Ok I haven't been here for awhile but I have to upgrade my rating to a five now. I'm not very easy to please when it comes to good food. It's very rare that I give a restaurant 5 stars. Everything I had today was perfect!! Just the right amount of heat and seasoning. Delicious! Can't go wrong with Thai food here, it is simply the best in Anchorage!!

I decided I really wanted some Thai food and knew I could experience this place with my sister, mom and niece along with my daughter. My husband would never say yes to this-he's not a fan of Thai food. Anyway, we had fresh rolls, shrimp purses, crying tiger, beef panang, beef kratiem and chicken fried rice. Everything was really good. All of the sauces were really good. I'd say my favorite sauce was the one with the crying tiger. My mom got a Thai tea and hadn't had one before and loved it. I know they're good but I was so thirsty for water. Definitely a place to go back to too. The service was great. They're super nice. Not too long of a wait for food or service.

I ordered some pad Thai to go after a drive coming up from Seward. They said it would take 20 min. I picked up my food within 15 minutes and it seems as if it was sitting out there for a while. The noodles were all stuck together and it was pretty dry. There was also some spicy powered in the corner that I did not know was spicy. They should have told me or asked if and how spicy I want it. I mixed it all and it was TOO DAMN SPICY. The hot mouth probably influenced this review a bit, but the noodles were dry, perhaps the eat in experience is better.

My homie bought me lunch at work today and we had trouble finding a nearby place that would deliver. Thank you internet for pointing us at Lahn Pad Thai, which although is halfway across town, still delivers small orders. We had the pork larb, which was spicy and delicious; deep fried wontons, fried to golden perfection, and sinus clearing Tom Yum Gai soup. It was delivered quickly and was piping hot and tasty. Lahn Pad Thai never disappoints.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Anchorage. They have excellent curries and stir fries. One thing that stands out to me is the variety and freshness of the vegetables they use in their dishes. The food comes out colorful and delicious every time. They also seem to balance the sweet and spicy parts of their dishes better than other places in town. I can't comment on their noodle entrees because I haven't had them. The service is good, not exceptional, but if you go to a small, family-run Thai restaurant and expect to be waited on hand-and-foot you have the wrong idea.

Really good. They speak good English so that's a plus. Don't forget to look at the specials!!!

I love this place. They have remodeled since the last time I was here and I must say it looks great. I always have a great meal here. The place is quaint but very relaxing atmosphere. Take out is a great option here if you are not in the mood for sit down dining. Reminds me of home cooking. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

A hit or miss for this place. The green curry was weak but the red curry was right. They did not have a som tum salad? The price was a little high? Service was good. I will look for another thai place before I come back.

This place is not good and you people giving it 5 stars have no pallet. It's also only 3.8 miles away from my place and took 1 hour and 45 minutes for delivery. Generic pad thai and spring rolls.

*ORDERED DELIVERY* Soooo Glad We Tried Them !!! I'm usually the chef in the house, but that night I was tired from work not feeling the prepping vibe I usually have. Still some dishes to clean from breakfast and the prior nights culinary accomplishments I said to my wife you want delivery, maybe Chinese? She grabs the iPad and starts looking for something close. Not pizza, not Chinese and she sees this place delivers. I call to check - Yup !!! They are close. We look through the menu and I'm in the mood for wings. Angel Wings - You got to have these! Crispy stuffed deep fried with a sweet duck style sauce. Yes as reviewers before us, the Drunken Noodles are Excellent you taste the from scratch noodles! Tom Yum Gai soup a bit too spicy for our 10 yr old daughter but we loved it! Chicken In A Pot - really good for the Daughter (wasn't spicy hot). The best Thai I have had in a long while !!! If your in the Abbott Loop Area - Make this your delivery restaurant of choice !!! We don't do delivery often, but looking forward to my next order. Everything was great and we can't wait to mine the other gems in their menu. $30 Min Order & $3, $4 and $5 Fuel Surcharge. We're lucky we live under a mile a way. No Charge.

Plan on waiting over hour on a slow night. It's Tuesday, I ordered fried rice 1.5 hrs ago and all they keep offering is to cancel my order bc it has taken so long! If Im waiting this long you should not offer for me to leave....I could care less if this is the best according to locals, no one should wait and watch others come in and eat, pay, then leave without offering to fix the problem of a clearly forgotten order.

My favorite Thai in Anchorage. We live in Hilltop and they deliver for a minimal $3 fee, which is worth it. They have great Thai curries and everything comes hotter than most Thai restaurants. They are serious when you tell them to make it spicy -- be warned they will do it. Love the great curry especially. Their fresh rolls are decent -- I've had better -- but good for Anchorage -- which we've found subpar generally for good food. Curries can be greasy -- not super consistent in that regard. But, still great Thai food in Anchorage, where you need to lower expectations. I recommend them.

Really had a nice Meal there today. Dropped in in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. About half full, which is a good sign (as opposed to empty). We made our way to a table, and we're met and helped right away. As soon as we sat our waitress helped us order more or less without a menu, simply asking us what we felt like having. The food came very quickly. The curry noodles with beef were seasoned just right. I was very hungry, and they were more than enough for me, with a little help from my girls. The fried spring rolls were fresh and tasty, and disappeared right away. The bahmee was generous in size, delicious, and garnished with fresh, crisp vegetables. We ordered the sate almost out of curiosity. It was good, but took us right over the top, and will make a good left over. Gibby our waitress was great. She made us feel right at home. I loved the fact that the dishes were all about $12.00 or under. How often do you see that? It isn't the Grand Palace, but they don't try to be. They are a solid, well priced, quality, small family restaurant rendering value at a reasonable price. No one does it better. 5 stars.

This is one of the best places in town for Thai cuisine. I am a fan of the kang curry, a yellow curry on the mild side with HUGE chunks of boneless chicken breast meat in a mild curry gravy, This also has potatoes and is served over white rice. Good starter for this is the fresh spring rolls that have chicken, shrimp, and fresh veggies (lots of cilantro!) in a wonton wrapper. This is served with sweet chili peanut sauce. What a great combination. You'll be back to try the drunken noodles. (WHAT? DRUNKEN NOODLES?)

Went there for a quick dinner before we flew out of Anchorage. Small place but apparently really busy even on a week night with pick ups. All we were craving was some good curry, which could comfort us. We had the Red Curry with Chicken and it was phenomenal, exactly what we wanted. We also ordered Pas Thai - which was average and on the sweeter side. I don't blame them for Pad Thai as most of the restaurants cant do that right anyway. Service was good.

Went there for lunch today as I enjoy thai food, but don't eat very often. I had the pad thai lunch, which was priced at 9.50, and upgraded to the fresh roll for a dollar, but got charged 12.95. Unfortunately I was in a rush and didn't ask why the change in price. soup was good and the food came out quickly you could get in and out in 30 minutes if you needed. Portions were perfect for lunch. I'll give it another chance, but unfortunately an extra $2.45 on the bill left a bad impression.

I stumbled upon this great little place while I was waiting for a pair of glasses to be finished next door, and I am so glad I did!! The service was fantastic and they were packed, the whole family was helping out which I love! The younger son was filling waters and taking plates in between finishing his homework. The food was FANTASTIC!! I had an amazing soup, sadly I can not think of the name right now and we shared the fresh spring rolls and a sweet ginger chicken dish...definitely going back!!

I ordered pad Thai on safer side. It is delicious I should say. The noodles in pad Thai is the best part. I ate the whole plate except rice. Yummy food in a smaller look restaurant. Loved it !!!

The food is fabulous! My friend, who is a Thai food lover and regular Thai consumer , declares the panang curry some of the best he has ever had. The ambiance is all about efficiency and food. It's hidden in a strip Mall but a must try!

By far the best Thai food in Anchorage. I have tried multiple dishes on the menu and have loved them all. I'm currently addicted to the Yum Vunsen. They can be a little heavy handed on the heat for me, but I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to spicy. Great service and so friendly!

The food here is amazing! The PANANG is incredible. Perfect amount of sweetness from the curry but has some kick to it that leaves you wanting more! Would recommend this place to anyone.

The Tom Yum Gai and Satay were pretty good. However, our main dishes were mediocre at best. We had the Pad Zee Ew and the Chicken Fried Rice and we're both sorely disappointed. Lack of flavor and over cooked mushy noodles is the reason for only 3 stars.

I was in town for business and had the king red red curry and spring rolls. Both were very good. Serving size is huge (that probably would of been a meal for 2). It was busy but service was still fast for take out. I would certainly come here again if I was in town

Best Thai in Anchorage so far. It was a recommendation from some friends and always delivers. Great sidewalk noodles and massaman/panang (Sp?) curries. Decent atmosphere for the classic anchorage stripmall gem, good service, nice family.

We were visiting Anchorage and found this place thanks to our fellow yelpers - thanks guys! We had the best fried spring rolls I think I've ever eaten - the perfect balance of crunch and flavor! For entree we enjoyed a delicious panang curry, drinkin noodles and loads of hot tea and extra rice. Medium spice was quite zingy, we loved it but beware it's not a tame spice level. Service was quick and friendly, we had half a meal to take home. Decor is modern, one big step up from what you would expect in a strip mall but not fine dining. Our total meal was moderately pricey - for 2 adults and 2 kiddos we paid $67 including a 20% tip.

Pretty bomb Thai food! Their food is pretty authentic. Came here the other night around 7pm on a weekday and they were pretty packed. It's a pretty small and cozy restaurant that is family run. I ordered their Pad Thai and it is one of the best I've had. Portions are big, you could probably share an order with someone. This place is definitely one of the better Thai places in town!

Pretty good Thai in South Anchorage. Their special's are normally the way to go for something different at a reasonable price. Pad Thai was very good as was the soup. Portion sizes are really nice.

Small dining room, with a local radio station supplying the music.. But the food here is Fabulous--right up there with the best, most gourmet-tasting Thai food in town!! The portions also are huge, enough for two. The Thai iced teas are large, creamy-smooth and lightly, perfectly sweetened. The friendly, laidback server guy is top notch! Polite, quick-thinking and knows his dishes. Medium-heat here, as he accurately put it, "Will light you up, but won't set you on fire." I recommend splitting the panang curry and a couple Thai iced teas. (The lad nar is a good no-heat runner-up.) =)

I've tried this place twice now since it's close to home. Very kind & efficient staff, sadly the food is lacking. We tried the pad Thai, yellow curry and egg rolls and a vegetable dish I can't remember. All dishes were overly sweet and lacked the usual exciting spices I love about Thai food. Felt somehow Americanized in its blandness and too sugary taste. Won't be back.

    (2)
  • Sam F.

Decent food. Not the best in Anchorage in my opinion. We've done take out and gone to the restaurant. Some dishes (can't tremendous the name now) medium isn't very spicy, will have to try the next level up next time.

I had only had their Green Curry and Fresh Spring rolls and they're a hit every time! Love it! More on the spendy side

These folks know how to do vegetarian. I've had the sweet and sour tofu (with pineapple) and the pad thai, which they made vegetarian for me. The tofu was infused with flavor, as were the crispy vegetables. The impactful sauces on both dishes made them irresistible. I ordered delivery. The food was warm to hot; no reheating required. (I do live pretty close to them.) The portion sizes were generous. The person who made the delivery was professional friendly. The one thing I'd ask to change is the delivery minimum. It's $30, plus a small delivery fee--about two entrees plus a soup or appetizer.

My wife and I enjoyed this place very much. We ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and the Kratiem Beef. Took a minute to get our order in but after that, they were spot on. We will definitely return.

I hadn't been to the restaurant in a couple months, after they had a few mixes ups on my last visit. Yesterday I went, and the food was back to its wonderfulness. Thank-goodness! This is the best Thai food in town. I look forward to many more meals there in the future.

    (5)
  • Justin K.

3 things 1. Service was horrible, they were really slow and not very friendly, we also had to remind our servers over and over until they brought us silverwares and extra condiments 2. A lot of the dishes were either very blend, or very salty. 3. Their portions are very small compared to other Thai restaurants in town.

  • Mali C.

So far Lahn Pad Thai pales in comparison to the other delicious Thai offerings here. I tried their drunken noodle it was almost not edible... But I've heard good things from other people so I'm going to give it one more shot.

    (3)
  • Ann B.

I haven't had a bad meal here. The pad thai is spot on - in fact, most of their noodle dishes are simply delicious. I heard they make their own thick flat noodle and it tastes like it! The drunken noodle is the best I have ever had. The heat scale can be off - I have ordered both medium and hot and felt the spice wasn't always right. Dishes with shrimp and veggies taste very fresh, with vegetables that aren't overcooked. The panang is to die for - thick, aromatic and creamy, it's not exactly a curry, but a much denser peanuty sauce. Great service, fast outpur from the kitchen. Though a bit spendy, worth every penny - especially when you can stretch most meals for two sittings.

Came in for lunch as I heard great things from coworkers on food quality and service. Services was prompt in watering us and delivering our ordered hot tea. This place has no arctic entry as it is in a strip mall so we were a little cold as people were coming and going. All that changed when we ordered our food, which I requested medium hot as thai hot usually seems to be in the realm of volcano and tasteless, except for the heat. I ordered the Shuchee Tofu for $12.95 which was a red curry with assorted vegetables from green beans, bell peppers, broccoli, and perfectly fried tofu, which I requested over fresh. I also ordered hot tea, $2, which rounded out the meal perfectly. Others ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, and the pad thai lunch that came with soup and a spring roll. The lunches were a better deal at about $9.50 each, but I generally find myself wanting to eat off the regular menu as there are more choices. Was a great first time and will come again, even though it is a bit far from the mid town area where i work

To be honest, I haven't tried all of the Thai restaurants in town, but once I tried Lahn's, I didn't really feel the need to try others. I'm not a huge fan of the parking or strip mall location, but the food makes it worth it. The panang curry is so amazing that I find it hard to try other things. The moo tod lunch special is also pretty delicious!

After years of looking at the high reviews for LPT, I finally made the trek across town to try it.. Great decision! I was really impressed by the authentic cuisine, the freshness of the ingredients, and all the flavors. My fiance and I shared the pad krapow (with beef) and the spicy seafood. Both dishes had the perfect level of spice, and the serving sizes were very generous. Good place for a casual dinner out :)

  • Paul F.

Very authentic Thai good, friendly service, we enjoyed dinner there. We ordered pad Thai, pad kang, red curry with bamboo shoots, and beef noodle shop. I would recommend it highly and would go thee again. Only one thing should be improved was bathroom. It wasn't particularly clean or organized

  • Puneet K.

Flavorless, didn't resemble Thai food at all, I think they used Italian basil. Asked for extra spicy, was not hot at all. Had none of the flavors associated with Thai, wasn't even cooked correctly. Overall it was just nasty and bland. Service was excellent at least

Got some take out this week from Lahn Pad Thai. Two entrees only: Thai tofu with fried tofu and brown rice for me (medium spice) and Pad Ped with fried tofu and brown rice for my girlfriend (also medium). Should mention we are both vegetarians. Thai tofu was okay... Tofu was good, but the dish is pretty plain and too salty. Needs some broccoli or something. I would call the spice more like mild, but it was okay overall. Much better with a little Sriracha, as are all things. 3.5/5 after adding hot sauce. Girlfriend liked her Pad Ped better. There were enough vegetables to make it more interesting, though still not necessarily what I would call great Thai curry. Also hers was much closer to what I think of as medium spice. 3.5/5 on its own. Portions were decent on both dishes. Overall 3/5. I'd get food from here again but maybe try something different.

Ordered for take out and had a horrible experience with the gentleman taking my order. I pulled up their to go menu on the website. When ordering by number (ex. C-2) the employee rudely proceeded to tell me that "it would be faster and easier to just tell him the name of the food." I disagree because I can't even correctly pronounce most of the items on the menu. Why even label the menu with numbers then? He confirmed my order and when I picked it up it was totally wrong, only having 1/4 orders correct. Will not order from here again.

Found this place on Yelp. The Beef Padang is my favorite. But you have to remind them not to make it salty, cause couple of my orders was. Fresh spring rolls has a lot of noodles and only half a shrimp. The first time we ate there all the food we ordered were good except for the kalbi was a little salty. Its a hit and miss, its either it's salty or too sweet like my pad thai and my kang karie yesterday. I was a little dissapointed. But their angel wings are the bomb. I still am coming back. I still think they are the best thai place in town but u just have to remind them not to make it salty or too sweet. Service is good. Waitresses were nice. All my orders for delivery and pick up was done on time

Absolutely delicious yellow curry with rice! My wife loves the vegetarian dishes too. Large portion sizes. The atmosphere inside is so-so, but smells wonderful. Quick delivery is a plus for when we are too lazy to cook at home.

So lucky to have found this place while killing time on our last day in anchorage. Food is authentic Thai. Big portions and is meant to be shared. Staff is genuinely nice ,helpful and friendly. A lot of takeouts. Popular with the locals. The tom youg (soup) never tasted better.

Amazing dinner! We had the summer noodles and a pineapple tofu curry (#15 on the vegetarian page). Don't let the strip mall location scare you away - I don't think I have ever had better Thai food. We will definitely be back. Also, the server told us that their restaurant runs a little on the spicy side, so we order our dishes 'mild', and I am glad we did. The spice level was perfect, a bit of a kick, without burning our mouths.

Not too bad but not great. Service was very good! Food was fair. I have the V-10 Popeye Fav and it was good. There is some construction going on to the building and there was no sign to let us know where the restaurant was. Went at noon on a Wednesday and it was dead. I hope that is not a sign!

Surprisingly good Thai food in Anchorage. We live in San Francisco and were on the last day of a 10 day trip to Alaska. Craving Thai food we found this place and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors. The Panang Curry was particularly notable with its many kinds of fresh vegetables floating in a very flavorful curry sauce. I would definitely recommend if in Anchorage and craving Thai food!

Like any Thai restaurant that is worth going to, Lahn Pad Thai is an unassuming blip in one of Anchorage's plethora of strip malls. It's humble decor leaves little to the imagination but the menus compensate by being stacked with some great food options. I was also very impressed that as I asked about veganizing my meal, the server seemed annoyed when I asked about fish sauce. THEY GET VEGAN! I went with my favorite Thai staple - fish sauce and egg-free Pad Thai on the mild side. It had a surprising vinegary flavor to it that was very very delicious. My friend ordered one of their famous curries and, while I didn't try it, she said it was awesome. It looked awesome and now I wish I tried some. We also got some vegan fried rice which looked bland on delivery but surprised with fresh veggies and some great flavor. The service was very polite and punctual. This was a GREAT little spot and I look forward to another visit to this vegan joint in Anchorage.

Wasn't worth coming back. I had pad Thai - tasted like it came out of a can - soggy and nothing fresh. My friend had curry - ok but not great. I don't understand all the raving reviews. Not cheap for lunch either.

After 2 years of driving by this place, we finally stopped for a carry-out order and we were thrilled with the result!! We got spring rolls, winter noodles, and pad see ew. The first thing I noticed was that the noodles are homemade!! How refreshing!!! The spring rolls were so flavorful and crunchy, even after the drive home! The winter noodles were too spicy for me, but my husband was pleased! I thought the flavors of my pad see ew were just perfect. I rarely finish an order at one sitting, but I polished off the pad see ew and was sad I didn't have any leftovers for the next day!! The people are friendly and efficient, too! Can't wait to go back!!

Our family has been eating here for years, since it first opened. This is a friendly place to get the best Thai in town. We have crossed off many other Thai spots, but keep coming here. The curries are all delicious, noodle dishes come in many varieties, and the fried rice is fresh and full of veggies! It is on the small size but it is not a huge deal getting a seat and they do offer takeout.

Great fresh food, large selection and personable service. The decor is simple, but I did absolutely adore an inspirational quote they had at the front of the restaurant. I would certainly recommend this place. I got the garlic beef which provided a generous portion of meat and fresh vegetables on the side. In addition to their regular menu, they also have some rotating specials. I was really craving a green papaya salad (which was on special and they had run out of), but they also had several other yummy items on special like mango sticky rice. I just might be back while I am here visiting Anchorage.

I want to give this place 4 stars, I really really do. However my experience has been that they are incredibly inconsistent with the quality of their food, and their ability to give you what you ordered. Don't get me wrong, I love the drunken noodle, when the cooks are on their game the quality is phenomenal. Sadly that is usually not the case. I feel a bit like Goldilocks when I describe the outcome of their food, but it is rarely just right. Either the proportions are off, it's not spicy, or it is too spicy, or not cooked well enough. And I order it the same way every time. Plus it is bit ridiculous that they do not allow you to order pad-thai vegetarian if you'd like their lunch combo. Perhaps dining-in vs. ordering take out yields better results.

The best Asian food in Anchorage! Went at 12pm and had two lunch entrees: Drunken noodles and Pad Thai. Also ate pork fried rice. All three dishes were very tasty. Fresh tomatoes, cilantro, beans sprouts, and more. Very surprised to see such fresh vegetables! Lunch came with soup, spring roll (best spring roll I've ever had), and white rice. Service was terrific. The only reason I didn't give a "5-star" rating...a thai restaurant in San Francisco was better. Loved this place!!!!

I love everything about this place! Family run! Great location. My only complaint is to many people know about this place and sometimes I have to wait but its worth it! The grandma makes the flower noodles fresh each morning! get them! Enjoy its the best Thia in all of Alaska!

  • Joel S.

This place his hit-or-miss. I've been there around 7 times and it was tasty 3 times and not very good the other 4 times. Sometimes the exact same dish would be completely different each time (for the worse). One of the visits the pad thai was so bad, I couldn't stomach more than one bite (I almost always got take-out, so I couldn't send it back). Since that last time I haven't been back and am on the search for our next Thai place to frequent. Too bad.

I recently moved out of Alaska and I'm going to miss this restaurant and compare all other Thai restaurants to it. My favorite is the panang, excellent every time! I usually ask for this vegetarian and to my delight it comes with loads of fresh veggies instead of just tofu and sauce. The drunken noodles are a close second, these have a lot of spice, but delicious! Kang karie, fresh rolls, spring rolls, curry noodles...all good! My mom swears by their their pad thai and tom yum gai. Any trip home will include a stop here for me!

  • Adrienne W.

LOVE this place! It is the best Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, and Fresh Rolls in town. I enjoy bringing friends, family and clients here. It's really small so come a bit before or after the lunch or dinner rush for a seat. In the winter it can get chilly so expect to wear your coat during dinner if you have to sit by the door.

I ordered 3 items for delivery. Two of the items were completely wrong, one containing the wrong protein and the other having no protein. This took about 45 minutes and I called to be reimbursed on my credit card. They seemed confused on the phone and reluctantly agreed to void my charge. I received a call back about 5 minutes later with an angry woman telling me that she was coming to pick up the food and questioning my ordering skills. I have eaten at Pad Thai many times but will NEVER again. Terrible customer service on their mistakes. They were rude, unapologetic and said they didn't need my business which I will gladly give to another Thai restaurant. On a side note, they charge a fee for delivery. It would seem ridiculous to drive back just to take the food away but that's exactly what they did..A delivery guy came out to take the food away.. Guess the charge is worth less than reclaiming their incorrect order..

This is a great Thai Restaraunt located in a strip mall. The staff are incredibly friendly, the service and food are both excellent. I have had the drunken noodles on three occasions and each time I ended up closing my eyes and savoring every bite. Hands down the best drunken noodles I have had anywhere. I wish I could go on about their other dishes but I have only dined there alone and have ordered the same thing each time because it was just so damned good.

I always heard great things about this place. My co-workers always boast about the portions they serve during their lunch and how "authentic" their cuisines are. Apparently my co-workers failed to realized that I am Thai and have very high expectations when eating out at local Thai eateries. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, compares to the ambrosia until you actually go to Bangkok's street vendors or have had Thai home cooking. Food snob? Yes. Optimistic and willing to try new things? Yes. Returning customer? Definitely not. My experience at LPT was an utmost letdown from the very beginning. On a Sunday afternoon, the place was fairly buzzing. My friend and I waited by the door for almost 5 minutes just to simply be acknowledged and another minute or so to be seated. Once seated, the server immediately asked what we wanted to order before we even flipped open the menu. To allow more time, we ordered two Thai teas and while the server was away, we decided on the Drunken Noodles and Basil Chicken. As we were waiting for our food, we did some people watching as they came in and out of the restaurant and indulged in frivolous girl-talk. As time passed on, we started to noticed that the people who arrived after us were being served first and had either large parties or more dishes than us. Still patiently waiting, we continued to chit chat and more customers were being served instead of us. No server ever came by to check in at our table, so I wasn't able to ask what was going on with our order. By the time our food was finally served, we had waited roughly 45 minutes. Annoyed but hungry we started to chow down on our meal but before we could actually start to enjoy our food I made an astonishing discovery. I had not one, not two, but THREE strands of hair in my drunken noodles. At this point I was ready to throw my plate against the wall and set the place on fire. I was beyond pissed. And to add the cherry on top of it all, when I complained about my food the server had the nerve to ask if I wanted them to remake my order. REALLY? And wait another 45 minutes? No thanks bitch! My friend and I graciously walked right out the restaurant and agreeably decided to hit up the nearest fast food joint. I am so glad LPT did not take a dime from me, this place was a total waste of time and effort. Never again will I step foot in it and for every co-worker that rants about this place, I will reaffirm them with high discourse. Sure, I may have not given it it's fair chance and had bad timing but this place showed a poor level of service and lack quality control. Thanks Lahn Pad Thai, you fucking suck!

Decent food. Not the best in Anchorage in my opinion. We've done take out and gone to the restaurant. Some dishes (can't tremendous the name now) medium isn't very spicy, will have to try the next level up next time.

I hadn't been to the restaurant in a couple months, after they had a few mixes ups on my last visit. Yesterday I went, and the food was back to its wonderfulness. Thank-goodness! This is the best Thai food in town. I look forward to many more meals there in the future.

3 things 1. Service was horrible, they were really slow and not very friendly, we also had to remind our servers over and over until they brought us silverwares and extra condiments 2. A lot of the dishes were either very blend, or very salty. 3. Their portions are very small compared to other Thai restaurants in town.

Flavorless, didn't resemble Thai food at all, I think they used Italian basil. Asked for extra spicy, was not hot at all. Had none of the flavors associated with Thai, wasn't even cooked correctly. Overall it was just nasty and bland. Service was excellent at least

Too bad.

3 things 1. Service was horrible, they were really slow and not very friendly, we also had to remind our servers over and over until they brought us silverwares and extra condiments 2. A lot of the dishes were either very blend, or very salty. 3. Their portions are very small compared to other Thai restaurants in town.

So far Lahn Pad Thai pales in comparison to the other delicious Thai offerings here. I tried their drunken noodle it was almost not edible... But I've heard good things from other people so I'm going to give it one more shot.

The food is fabulous! My friend, who is a Thai food lover and regular Thai consumer , declares the panang curry some of the best he has ever had. The ambiance is all about efficiency and food. It's hidden in a strip Mall but a must try!

Ok I haven't been here for awhile but I have to upgrade my rating to a five now. I'm not very easy to please when it comes to good food. It's very rare that I give a restaurant 5 stars.

Decent food. Not the best in Anchorage in my opinion. We've done take out and gone to the restaurant. Some dishes (can't tremendous the name now) medium isn't very spicy, will have to try the next level up next time.

I hadn't been to the restaurant in a couple months, after they had a few mixes ups on my last visit. Yesterday I went, and the food was back to its wonderfulness. Thank-goodness! This is the best Thai food in town. I look forward to many more meals there in the future.

Flavorless, didn't resemble Thai food at all, I think they used Italian basil. Asked for extra spicy, was not hot at all. Had none of the flavors associated with Thai, wasn't even cooked correctly. Overall it was just nasty and bland. Service was excellent at least

No Charge.

So delicious!! We usually only get take out since it's a little small, but the food is always great!
