I've had pizza takeout twice, and was thoroughly pleased both times. I don't know what the other reviewers are complaining about with regards to ordering; the owners are always courteous and it's a pinch to order. The place itself is small; enough space for you to pace or view a menu--it's not a sit-down. The pizza dough is nice and fluffy, but lacks that nauseating-in-large-quantities chewy consistency you find in a Costco pizza. A little crisp on the outside and compliments your toppings marvelously. I've had the cheese, garlic chicken, and personal favorite, the "sheish kabob." I would pass on the garlic chicken; a little too rich for me. That kabob one, though, well worth a try! Cilantro and tomato balance out the heaviness of cheese and meat, making for an excellent pie.

They cannot speak English... called and asked about their philly and the dude said no thanks and hangs up on me... wtf. Ordered wings in store another time and they short me on the number of wings I got... I explained it to the lady and she didn't even care that they did that. Decent food, horrible people and service. Go somewhere else.

I understand this is a family owned business but it wouldn't hurt to hire someone just to answer the phone, someone who speaks fluent clear English. I had to constantly repeat all my information. By the end of the call I chose not to pay by card because I knew it would be a struggle. Now to the food- if you like lots and lots of gooey cheese on your pizza then this is the perfect place for you. It also had an Indian taste to it which I wasn't a fan of. Maybe I'll give them another try one night and mention light on the cheese and also order the breadsticks everyone is talking about.

The pizza is very different and the spices they use in their crust are very pleasant. However the owners are so rude. We ordered from here three different times and every time they were so rude. Especially when they deliver and they don't speak to you when you open the door. I said hello and he just stared at me. So rude, I liked the pizza but I will never order from here again. Service is everything to me and can ruin even the best food. Will not eat here ever again.

I was recently introduced to Capri pizza and now will never order from anywhere else. The ingredients are REAL! It may take a while for it to be delivered but that is most likely because they are chopping the veggies to order-it's THAT fresh. They are open until 2am, so I urge you to give them a try instead of the default, Sicily's.

We were staying at a Comfort Suites hotel near the airport and needed to get something to eat before our early-morning flight back to California. We had originally wanted to go to a local hangout, the Moose's Tooth, which we heard had fantastic pizza, including a Greek Gyro pizza, but this turned out to be too far away from where we were staying. Probably using Yelp, my girlfriend found a nearby pizza place, Capri Pizza, that delivers, and that also offers a Greek Gyro pizza. She ordered a medium Greek Gyro pizza for my niece and me and another medium pizza for her and my mother, plus a two-liter bottle of Diet Coke. She'd been told it would take 45 minutes, and the pizzas and soda were indeed delivered in almost exactly that time. The pizzas were very good, and there was more than enough for all four of us. I regret that there wasn't more time so that we could have finished off these pizzas, and that I didn't take pictures to post with this review!

Tried to call in an order and it was impossible to even communicate with the guy. After being on hold and then him coming back on line still being rude I simply told him I'd be ordering somewhere else. Horrible.

Best pizza in Alaska! We are always ordering this pizza for lunch at work! The MAMA MIA hits the spot. We order the buffalo winsgs too and they are always baked, never grilled. The meat falls off the bone and right into your mouth. This pizza is amazing

This pizza is delicious! It has a slightly Mediterranean/East Indian flavor which I am a huge fan of. We ordered from them and it took like an hour and a half for delivery but in my opinion definitely worth it. We will probably order from them again next time we want pizza delivery.

The pizza was decent. I think it's overpriced for what you get. It's not gourmet pizza but they charge like it is.

Wish I could have based my review on the food but it didn't get that far. Tried to order a special which included two large, two topping pizzas. Tried to order a half Canadian bacon/pineapple and half pepperoni/sausage and the lady said I could not because that was four toppings. I tried to explain that it was a half and half and she acted like I was trying to cheat her out of toppings. Rude and apparently unable to do mental math. Will never call this place again.

Ordered from here for the first time ever, and got their Deal #1 that comes with eight buffalo wings, two medium two-topping pizzas, and an order of breadsticks. This is the BEST pizza I have ever had. I have no idea what the seasoning on top is, but I like it. Everything was seasoned so perfect, not salty, not bland, just perfect. This place is definitely a new favorite.

I've ordered delivery from Capri only a few times. I like it better than some of the others I've tried, and better than the place I usually end up ordering pizza delivery from. The menu has an interesting variety of foods, including various sandwiches, calzones, Philly sandwiches, and "a taste of India" choices, which is great when not everyone in the house is in the mood for pizza. The pizza is pretty good too. One time it took a long time to get our pizza and we never did know why, but it eventually arrived. We didn't notice any problems or long waits the other times. If Capri provided online ordering so I could use a credit card without having to read it over the phone to someone struggling to understand me, I would order from them more often.

The finest pizza in Anchorage. Not afraid to take chances (e.g., sheish kabob, greek gyro, and taco pizzas). A diamond solitaire in Spenard.

Best pizza in Anchorage! We always get the medium Mama Mia with light cheese and it is so delicious that we have to immediately eat a slice in the parking lot before we take it home! The ingredients are consistently fresh and mouth watering - just call your order in and in 30 minutes your pizza is piping hot ready - yum! One of these days I would like to try the Capri breadsticks too.

They deliver!! Was told 45 min and pretty much spot on. I had a long layover before my flight home, so I checked into a hotel near the airport. Unfortunately I had no car and I didn't feel like wandering Anchorage for food, or eat at Wendy's. I yelped this place, and told them my hotel. 45 minutes later a knock on my door. For the 4 of us, I ordered a medium Euro pizza, and a medium 2 topping pizza, and a 2 liter soda. The pizza was still nice and hot, and there were leftovers too. 1 large would have been sufficient for the 4 of us.

We ordered the kabob pizza and breadsticks. We waited an hour and 40 mins for delivery after being told 45mins. Then they forgot the ranch I specifically asked for. The delivery guy didn't have a receipt after paying with a credit card over the phone and disappeared for another 40 mins before coming up with one. My boyfriend called about the problems with his phone that was used to make the order and they refused to answer but when he used mine right after they answered. And to top it all off, the pizza tastes like curry. Idk if this is advertised considering I did not choose but I hope it is. I couldn't eat more than one piece. Just wanted normal pizza after a week of driving to AK.

When I decide to grab a pizza to go- which isn't often- it's just to get something quick to fill the void and maybe have two slices tops. (I generally make my own cuz I'm picky) We stopped in here tonight to grab a pepperoni green pepper and mushroom small pizza and it was phenomenal. Owners were obliging- I like mine cooked so the cheese is pretty brown which they did perfectly and the crust was nice and chewy, sauce was the right blend of seasoning and not too much. Anyway - great find and I'll come back when passing through Anchorage again....

If you call in an order and show up early, you're sure to find Shazia still chopping your veggies and kneading your pizza dough by hand. You won't find frozen, pre-formed junk here; everything is made fresh from scratch--and with a bit of special spice. Shazia Chaudhry and her husband, Raheel, originally hail from Pakistan. Don't let her simple demeanor fool you; she's earned several degrees and worked as an educator, although she and Raheel both found a passion for food. I've never known what possessed them to come to Alaska, but I'm glad they did. Others must be, too, since every time I go in, it's always "beezy, beezy, beezy." Although Raheel learned the pizza-making trade in Sweden, he and Shazia have brought their native Pakistan into the small strip mall on Spenard not far from the airport. Not only do they offer kosher/halal food, the scents that fill the air of the tiny kitchen and waiting area are as enticing as a Middle Eastern spice shop. They do have the standard pepperoni, cheese, and Hawaiian pizza offerings, but the real treats are the exotic creations that make your jaw slow down and savor every bite, like the Sheish Kabab, Greek Gyro, or Chicken Garlic pizzas. If I can't find someone to split a pizza (a rare case, since as soon as I mention "Capri," all of my coworkers start salivating), I'll spring for the Chicken Fajita sandwich. Although it appears at first glance like its Mexican namesake except on pita, the succulent chicken has a decidedly Pakistani spice mix. And since it's baked in the pizza oven, not fried, Shazia (perhaps jokingly, perhaps not) touts its as healthy--something I'm sure I ruin in part with my dollop of ranch dressing (which, for this particular sandwich, I prefer to the standard mint sauce). Did I mention fresh vegetables? My favorite part is biting into a hot, sweet, juicy, ripe grape tomato. The lineup of other Middle Eastern-influenced sandwiches is equally tantalizing, but that chicken fajita sandwich is so good that I rarely stray from it. Shazia's specialty is the Capri Breadsticks. Certainly not your ordinary mozzarella cheesy bread, the dough for these is literally made by hand from an old family recipe. Topped with fresh melted cheese and a light dusting of sesame seeds, a warm, doughy bite into these sticks is pure heaven. A relatively new offering is their twice-baked fries. Also baked and thus "healthy," according to Shazia, they taste as crispy as anything deep-fried in oil--except they don't leave your fingers covered in grease. Ask Shazia for some Pakistani ketchup for the fries for an extra treat. The other huge bonus is their hours: I work nights, and finding good food after 10pm in Anchorage can be a challenge. Capri's got that covered: they're open (full menu!) until 2am, although they don't like to take new orders much past 1. They also deliver, although even though I'm a super frequent customer and work less than 5 minutes away at the airport, they enforce their minimum order of $15 very strictly (no, $14.98 doesn't cut it). I cut them a little slack, though, since they do constantly seem to be "beezy, beezy, beezy," and the food is worth the drive. All in all, it's one of my top eateries on the westside, whether I'm at work or looking for something to feast on with some friends, and it's always a huge crowd-pleaser. Try something exotic; your tongue will thank you!

Ok so first off.... I was on vacation and was wanting quick, cheap pizza. So my boyfriend and I decided to order from here. We checked out the online menu and then called it in. I would have preferred online ordering because people are so stupid when ordering over the phone sometimes (this was one of those times) So when i called it in I had to repeat myself at least 5 times on the address, 2 times on my credit card number, 3 on the expiration date and the person was EXTREMELY rude. He did not understand english and did not speak it very well either. Our order was very simple, Deal #5, a medium ham with extra cheese and a medium pineapple and chicken pizza with a 2 litter of Sprite. The man did not understand that it was delivery even though I said it once in the beginning, once in the middle, and 3 times at the end. Over an hour later, we FINALLY got out pizza. The delivery person was rude. He mumbled a hello, never looked at me. Shoved the pizza and soda at me. Dropped the recipe and the pen (expected me to pick them both up) and then basically ran away when I said thank you. However, the soda was cold and the pizza was delicious. The chicken was different then what I am use to in Kansas but it was very good. Overall the professionalism was horrible but the food was delicious.

This was the first time I had ordered food from here. The pizza was great. The right amount of sauce, they didn't skimp on the cheese, and the crust was perfect. There was no delays in getting it delievered, but I was right next door at the Holiday Inn Express. I only tried pizza but can't wait till next time to try other items.

Wonderful pizza, and sandwiches. This is as good as it gets, priced right too. Take out, or delivery only, but who cares when the food is this good! I had a pineapple and pepperoni, my personal favorite, my wife had a meat lovers pizza, both excellent. On our previous visit I had a pepperoni, and my wife had Seekh Kabab - Beef, again excellent. I want to try the twice baked fries next time. Raheel showed us a magazine, I think it was Food NetWork, that mentioned them as the best in Alaska. It turned out to be true.

As I walked in, I didn't expect much from the little hole-in-the-wall place with a counter and no seating. But it was on Spenard; convenient to the airport. So I ordered "to go". There was a man and his wife doing all the work; I soon learned by our conversation that they were the owners -and had been there many years. My calzone, which was made as I waited, turned out perfect; beyond my wildest food dreams! I will definitely return, in spite of its being across town from me.

Was given a delivery time of 45 minutes, so after an hour called them back to find out why it was taking so long. They said 5 more minutes, so we waited another 20. Finally got out pizza after an hour and 15minutes when promised at 45, we finally got our pizza. It was good pizza though.

Only two stars, IF THEIR LUCKY! worst driver ever, twice I have been screwed. Without saying more this person was rude, argumentative, and hostile. Driver late every time, almost two hours several times. When I called only arguments, this is not good business. Said they'd refund because it wasn't delivered, wrong!!! Decent pizza but not worth the bs.

The pizza was delivered within 45 minutes to my hotel room. It was still hot! I ordered a medium veggie and it was a good combo of cilantro, bell pepper, onion, tomato, olive and mushroom. Quality ingredients. Good cheese. Not oily. I am not in anchorage very often, but will definitely order from here the next time I'm in town.
