Average American food at a small town restaurant. It's a quality option among limited choices, if you're in the area. Consider where you are and keep your expectations in check. You're not going to get the best NY strip or piece of salmon of your life here, but the burgers and sandwiches are good.

Our waitress was new and didn't know everything, but I'll give her a pass because she was still learning! She didn't know the specials off the top her head, but got them right away when we asked. The burger I ordered was a bit dry and overcooked. The fries that came with it were cold and limp. Thankfully, the burger I ordered was on special that night and was only $6.99. I would only return here if I stayed at The Lodge again (it's right across the parking lot).

First time visitors. Waitress was rude. Never brought out the salads. Kids meal corn dog was still cold in the middle when receiving it. Waitress never refilled drinks until we asked. Probably won't go back again.

Had the wild rice meatloaf at $10.99 and found it good, substantial food. It came with a fine gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Dining companion said beans were too crunchy and should have been cooked longer, but they tasted fine to me. New Glarus Spotted Cow on tap, which is a real plus. Service was excellent. I'd give this place three-and-a-half stars, if that was an option.

Best sit down restaurant in the area. It's hard to find restaurants with good food that even stay open until normal dining hours around here. I basically eat here once a year with my mom since it's her favorite place to go. In the past I've had the walleye, pork schnitzel, elk steak, burgers, and others too. It's been good food consistently.

Decent American food, and particularly convenient if you're staying at The Lodge (across the parking lot.) Quality of service varies, though I'm happy that, after a number of years, they finally have some officially gluten-free options on the menu. Finding those outside of major metro areas in the upper Midwest has proven to be far more of a challenge than I was expecting.

I eat here every other Thursday with our men's group from church. I have had most every server there and have had nothing but positive experiences even when we are there with 15+ people in the group. My only complaint with the entire process is that I can never decide which one of there amazing menu items I am going to pick that night. Great job everyone. Keep it up!!!

We have a cabin in the area and eat at Adventures at least once a month. They have excellent food and typically good and friendly service. Our favorites eats are the wild rice corn chowder soup, the steak and Cesar salad sandwich combo, the putting on the ritz walleye and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo is amazing. I'm sitting on the nice outdoor patio as I write this on a Friday night watching all the cars and boats head north on hwy 70. Stop in if you are driving by.

This is a great charm in the northwoods. We try and stop here every time we go to our cabin. Pros: -Great Food -Quick and Friendly Service -Family Friendly Atmosphere -Nice Location Cons: - Do not get the house Pinot Noir. It is bad!

I've eaten here a couple of times and while nothing catastrophic has ever happened, I can't bring myself to do cartwheels of joy over the place. The menu is fairly large for a small town restaurant and they do have fish and crab offerings. The portion size is on the small side for the prices. A lot of the non-sandwich menu items seem good, but they end up disappointing. As with most small town joints like this, I think it's best to stick with the tried-and-true burger/sandwich on a bun and fries, they do that pretty well. I haven't heard anyone I've eaten with here rave about the pasta, fajitas, seafood, or any other dish they tried here, and some have been downright disappointed.

This place has potential but when our bartender made our margarita on the rocks with cheap tequila and cheap mix, without shaking or stirring....was pretty turned off. Hell, throw a damn lime in if you're that lazy! It wasn't even busy!! Decent selection of tap beers but not a place I'd head back to anytime soon.

Had bad fish and worse service. Prices to high for what you get as noted by others. But it is only one of a very few places in the area for families. It's good to see there is now some competition in the area for non-bar centered (read grease/fried) places to eat. I hope Tesora lives up to the hype. We'll find out soon.

Nice place, average food. We eat here a few times each summer. Grantsburg has better food and better prices as its not on 35/70 interchange

The food was good, the wine was excellent and the service was outstanding. Their bruschetta was a bit of a twist on the norm, but very tasty. My salmon was cooked well without drying it out and the flavor was great. I would recommend them if you like a northwoods relaxed atmosphere.

The special today was chicken cordon blue, but what I got was a grilled breast with 2 slices of ham and shredded cheese on top of the ham that wasn't even melted. I was hoping for a breaded and stuffed chicken breast. I've had better meals here in the past, but today I was disappointed.

The food is pretty decent here. They do try to get creative and have foods from different parts of the world. That sometimes gets a little iffy. Stick to what you know here if you want something good. The atmosphere here is family friendly too.
