We tried it when it first opened. Wasn't very good but thought we would try again. More choices and seemed better than last time. They said they had a "lunch rush" and they were busy. Maybe busy for them but it wasn't busy to me, and I've been a waitress before. Anyway, one of the people we were with was in a rush and had to go. This isn't the place to go, they said it was going to take 20 minutes. Good thing she got hers to go, she had to leave and we didn't get our 2 sandwiches until 25 minutes later. Ridiculous. The service is terrible too. Might come here again if I get desperate. Not impressed overall though. Waitress never asked us how our meal was or came to check on us again. Not knowledgeable either, I asked about the "drink of the day" and nobody even knew what it was! So overall, mediocre food, terrible service and nothing special. We were there over an hour and we still never had anyone check on us or give us our bill. Rude.

Poor service and food was only "eh". After, I was talking with friends and they have had similar experiences here. There was live music which is attractive at a restaurant. The music was good but didn't make up for the other large downfalls. Waited a somewhat long time to get the food. It wasn't super long but longer than what I expect for how busy they were- or weren't. Waitress never checked back after getting our food and we were done eating for 20 minutes before we got our bill. This is my second time having the same experience so I won't be back.

Went there on a Sunday morning with my parents. I ordered the Denver omelet, dad ordered the breakfast quesadilla. Could not make half the items on the menu because they were out of cheese! IN WISCONSIN! I could maybe even see if they were crowded, but it was just us and one other table in there. On top of that, the waitress didn't seem to have a clue about the menu. Will not be back.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the Von Stiel winery. We had the spicy Bloody Mary drinks and a delicious lunch. Prime rib sandwich and a BLT....heavy on the B! We also tried the home made potato soup.....yummy!!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was a great experience. Awesome sports memorabilia too!

Best prime rib I've had in the long time, my wife had the fried pork chop and also loved it. They're putting a lot of effort into locally sourcing their products, and offer "cook your catch", where the charter captains will get it all prepared, and they'll cook it up for you with sides. We were in when they first opened and weren't impressed, but they've really upped their game.

We had dinner here on a Thursday evening. The dining room is decorated with sports memorabilia. Most NFL team helmets, autographed footballs, and even a jersey autographed by Tom Brady. Another section is dedicated to the baseball theme and still another toward the basketball teams. We were the only people in the place for most of the dinner so we had our waitress's undivided attention. She was friendly and informed us of the night's specials. There were 2 for 1 tap beers at the time. I ordered the stuffed burger. It was stuffed with bacon, blue cheese, and onions. I ordered it with lettuce and pickles on a toasted bun. This was unbelievably good. Grilled to a perfect medium rare, it was juicy and flavorful. The order came with a side of baked beans and homemade potato chips. Yes they actually fresh fry their own potato chips. They were a crispy golden brown, lightly salted. This is a good place to go for a burger. There are several specialty burgers and a take on the Big Mac. This will be listed in my "Best Burger" list as this is one of Algoma's best burgers.

We stopped here on July 5th while on a motorcycle trip with a group of 20 riders, there were about 6 waitresses waiting on both the dining room and outside tables. The waitress did a pretty good job but the wait for our food was ridiculous, we all ordered burgers or sandwiches and had to wait almost an hour to get our meals. The kitchen is obviously not staffed to handle all the people that dining area can handle. When my burger did arrive it was one of the greasiest burgers I've ever had, we will not be stopping here again on any of our travels to eat.
