Chains like this try to hit a niche that pleases enough people that they can make a buck. I've been to many different Saladworks locations and they really do it for me. I like my salads with lots of ingredients and I can load up here with just about anything I want. There are plenty of dressing choices. Most importantly I have never had a problem with freshness. A salad is likely going to cost you $7-$10 but it will be very large. Great place!

ironically, i'm laying down another 3-star national chain review for an establishment located directly next door to the previous one i wrote not too long ago (panera). what can i say? the lawrence park strip mall has some decent, albeit generic, eats! i'm picky, so i always go for the create your own salad...and apparently i'm also a creature of habit and always create the same thing: spinach with egg, chickpeas, feta, craisins and sunflower seeds with lite balsamic. trust me, it's quite good! tho last time around it was a little less so as it was mistakenly made with italian dressing instead of my beloved balsamic. cie la vie. i don't come to SW enough to know if this is a new item or if they've had it forever and i'm just slow to notice...but regardless, i wanted to share my latest discovery: sautee soups! saw the sign reading "vegetable medley soup" and was excited to get a cup on the side as it was a rather cold day (in MAY!) i was informed that it was not available in cup size, but alas i was curious (and cold) so went for the whole shebang. this truly was a meal - chunks of broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes and pasta were freshly sauteed before my eyes, then broth was added and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. yum!

Since they moved across the parking lot basically next to Popeye's chicken, this place stinks! They are so stingy on the toppings and for that money for a salad, I expect more. First of all, why move to such a tiny location with approx. 7 tables for seating??? There is never anywhere to sit! 2nd. They took away the fresh brewed iced tea and now the fountain soda machine!! 3rd, the salads are expensive, they very rarely offer coupons or text coupons anymore and when you do go in for a salad, you get lettuce and a sprinkle of ingredients on top. A sprinkle for that price is not going to keep me coming back! The chicken most times looks old and left over. You never know if you are going to get a good, satisfying salad with nice size portions or old browning lettuce with 2 day old chicken, which you only get 2-3 small pieces of anyway. Bring back the OLD saladworks with the friendly faces, the nice portions of salad, fresh chicken, fountain soda or brewed tea and TABLES to sit!

I stop by Saladworks frequently and have only been disappointed once. The folks that work there are always friendly and make a mean salad. I too, create my own salad and always make the same thing. Their ingredients are always fresh tasting. Do try!!

this is a VERY BIG salad works. i rarely see it half full and surprised it's been around for so long. besides being a spacious location, it is also clean and quiet, good for a meal by yourself or with a friend. you can have a nice conversation without having to compete with the people next to you. the salad runs about 7-10 dollars which is a bit pricey for vegetable. but considering it's health benefits when comparing to the nearby wendys, arbys, popeyes, etc....it's a good meal. you dont leave feeling heavy but satisfied and healthy. i've been here 3 times already and will continue to come here from time to time. yay for salads!

My husband is a big fan of Salad Works Turkey Club salad. I have tried a few different options at Salad Works and have really like some and was "meh" about others. The different seasonal options available are usually pretty tasty. This is probably the best location in the Philadelphia area. I encounter 3 locations on a weekly basis and this location has stand up service, friendly employees, and a good location. I have been going to this location when they were 1/2 block down and since the management has changed it's a better Salad Works location. I have had one issue with a fishy tasting tuna salad and it was rectified immediately on my next visit.

This place is extremely cheap on the toppings. Although everything is fresh, you really don't get any bang for your buck here. $10 for lettuce and a sprinkle of this and a dash of that does not cut it for me. If I am ever in here again, I will let the staff know to be a little more generous.

We're at Saladworks at least once a week. We're thrilled that Saladworks now posts the calories for their salads and dressing. The turkey club salad is a hit in our family as is the Caesar salad. The options for making your own are excellent, too. Our only complaint is the amount of dressing given for a salad of that size isn't enough, and it's unfair they charge extra for additional dressing. On a positive note, kudos to Demi, one of the employees, who always remembers our order (better than we do sometimes)! She's terrific!

Meh. Never thought I'd be Yelp reviewing saladworks.. But I was not impressed. I got the soup and salad - tortilla soup and Sophie's salad (my go-to). The soup was awful.. Don't even try it. And as for the salad.. When he asked me if I wanted it mixed together, I assumed that included the lettuce. Right!? Nope just all of the goodies plopped on top. Added: the saladworks near my house cuts the apples so their actually bite sized when I eat my salad.. That would've been cool too...

I am giving this location 2 stars because of what happened today and how they handled the situation. If they weren't so nice - I really would have given them one. My coworker and I got salads for lunch. I was almost done, and I took a bite and there was BIG piece of plastic. It was at least an inch big and sharp!!!! I called and spoke to the working manager and he refunded our meals and offered a 25$ gift card. Then the general manager called me and made it a 50$ gift card. So I believe they handled it well. But I am still very upset this happened-that is why I am giving them 2 stars.

I take it all back.. they close at 8 and started sweeping the floor at 7:30... seriously crazy. I just listened to them make a customer feel bad about ordering at 7:35. Really?

I really want to like this place. Great food, made to order salads, and what's best, you can create your own. Moreover, it appeals to a nutritionally conscientious part of our population for home fast food is a synonym with indigestion. What I can't understand, is that if we ordered salad for seven people, and told him that we wanted them all in one container, and they had the containers, why the manager would not even make the effort to look for the appropriate containers and instead we had the incredible waste of seven different containers, a host of assorted containers of butter and salad dressings, enough to fill Half a trashcan container full of waste material. As a matter of fact, I don't think that the store manager even went through the effort of looking in the back to see if he had a container for all. Food: four stars. Ambience: three stars. Service: two stars.

Update! They moved and improved . Smaller cleaner brighter! Salad ingredients all looked fresh and service was fast and friendly . Price still high for a salad. I like to put all my own veggy thoughts into my salad , so I am not minding the price.

This new (too much) smaller space is a total sh1t-show, and I'm very disappointed. The salads are much more expensive than the same from other Salad Works I frequent, the portions are minuscule, the blaring music too loud, the staff are disinterested and dull, and the interior is a mess. Go elsewhere.

This Saladworks is no longer next to Panera but across the shopping center where the Chinese restaurant used to be. This location is very small. Staff was very friendly, but there were no menus posted so if you have not been to a Saladworks before it might be challenging. Food was OK but there is no seating near the windows so I don't think I would ever opt to eat in here.
