Great before or after a movie or Happy Feet. Bright, fun, plenty of seating. Yummy burgers. Not super cheap, but that's ELI.

Hunting for a casual dining spot on a trip out east, I called a friend and fellow foodie and was given this location. The menue and decor were very appealing as we entered with a toddler, baby and four adults. They apologized that the only place to fit us was by the kitchen. They led us to a booth in the back with only one highchair. When I found another the staff watched as I had to lift it over tables to get it to ours. The bottom was disgusting and clearly never wiped down I was horrified at the thought of holding it over tables. Well the first highchair I grabbed was broken and had to put it back in the corner and take another, this time trying to guide it through the tables so I didn't lift the filthy bottom over the table tops, but unfortunately nailing the guy's leg that was sitting between my table and the corner storage of chairs. The whole time the staff watched as I maneuvered the additional highchair for my nephew, and placed it at the opposit end of the table as the othe highchair. Soon we found out why the staff was eyeballing us, we took over two seatings for four. I can't even imagine how they thought all four of us and two high chairs were going to fit next to the kitchen doorway, and in one table. We didn't argue just apologized and didn't move. The food was very good but rare and medium rare were over cooked. I had a Blood Orange Margarita, it was very good but not worth the price; if I took the ice out it would have filled a shot glass. The shakes were delicious. We were there for a while having to wait for some of our meal, an extra shake took and extra long time and the deep fried Oreos came out long after I was finished with my coffee. We were there for lunch before tourist season and they couldn't keep up with the crowd that was there this weekend, I can't imagine going there during high season. In general, the wait staff were gracious, apologizing for placing us at the kitchen doorway and when we waited for some of our orders, and not insisting we squeeze into the one table. The food was very good, but the cleanliness of the restaurant is off-putting. The bathrooms were dirty, with full garbage cans, no hand towels, and needing to be swept. The management needs to instill a higher standard of cleanliness, more consistent during the day and greater during the end of the night, wipe down the chairs completely! The sight of the filth before I was eating really made me think about how clean it was beyond the kitchen doorway.

LT Burger is a new spot in Sag Harbor, which takes over the merry-go-round space formerly occupied by Mambo Jambo. Owned by the LT of BLT fame, this burger joint is located on Main Street in one of the prettiest towns in NY and I gave it a try last Saturday night. Here's the rundown: The PROS + 3: The burgers are freaking awesome. All are 7 ounces of certified Angus beef, a combo of sirloin, short rib, chuck and brisket. Served on a sesame seed bun, they are close to perfection. + 2: Spiked milkshakes! I think this is a new phenomenon. But anytime you mix Oreo ice cream and tequila it can't be a bad thing. + 1: The wraparound bar, big overhead wire fans and incandescent hanging lights give LT Burger a cool retro vibe, and the crowd is Hamptons, yes, but completely casual and both kid/adult friendly. + 1: Three Kinds of fries - thin, waffle and sweet potato (my personal recommendation). + 1: Ms Pac Man up front if you're waiting for a table.... The Cons - 1: Not a huge fan of the bartender. After grabbing a seat at the bar, I waited for at least 7 minutes before he even looked my way. Total pet peeve of mine. And then after ordering a beer, it took another 5 minutes for him to pour it. And then he snarled at me when I asked for the beer...WTH? Customer service... - 3: Christie Brinkley's autograph is on the wall near the front -- me thinks that's not too cool. Overall LT Burger is definitely a winner -- for the burgers alone -- and I'll be hitting it again sometime soon. Just hoping for a better seat at the bar.

Great food. But the people who work there often seem very sour. Observe them as they go from table to table and behind the bar, and lack of motivation is definitely a thing. It almost ruins the whole experience, except that the food is consistently incredibly tasty. Some employee coaching (or therapy) is definitely in order.

I went here to have lunch with a friend. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre and the prices were INSANE (and that says something, because I'm from California where everything tends to be pricey). I got a burger. It was not bad, but it wasn't great either. Middle of the road. For FOURTEEN dollars, it should have come with a side. Yes, it was ONLY a burger on a plate with nothing else. To add insult to injury, the tomato was one of the most unripe I have seen in my entire life (pale pale pink) and the lettuce was iceberg. Iceberg, really? My friend had a falafel sandwich. It was also mediocre (You could do much better by spending a couple of bucks at a Mediterranean food truck. Seriously.) We also got onion rings which were good (but not outstanding, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were frozen from a bag). The milkshake was really yummy, but honestly, can you f-ck up a milkshake? I mean it's kind of hard not to like fat and sugar that tastes like chocolate. Beer and wine was also $$$$. $6.00 for an Amstel Light? Jesus Christ, I can get a pint of local microbrew beer back in California for $4.50! For the $40+ bill that we had (for LUNCH! with no alcohol!), I would expect the food to be a lot fresher, tastier, handmade, local and organic. It was identified as none of these. Honestly, I can get a better burger at IN-N-OUT for $4. If you are a millionaire who likes mediocre food, then by all means, go here and make the owners millionaires, too. If not, save your money and go somewhere nice in the city.

Wow, I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant but the staff or more so, who I think was the manager, was a real ... shall I say it.... d*ck head. 2 times I had this experience. I'm surprised the owner lets this person represent the restaurant. He really seems to be put out by customers and is very expressive when things aren't going right. Keep that stuff back-of-house buddy. He should get another job that he doesn't seem to hate. Breakfast was poor. Eggs had zero flavor and the potatoes were just plain weird in their texture.

Oh yeah. Outstanding burgers brought to you by the 'LT' of 'BLT' fame. Incredible shakes (including with alcohol if you so desire). Classic fifties diner style but the food is updated to reflect today's trends (and portion sizes). Pricing is quite high, but the place is very good.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but they messed up my drink last time I went. I ordered one of their adult shakes and it was watery and just icky, but everyone else I was with said their shakes were very good. The food is always very good when I come. They get very imaginative with their menu which make this place very fun and memorable. I love the decor and the feel of the place.

Great turkey burger and fast, attentive service. Spotted this Saturday at lunch: Jill Zarin of RHWNY fame with Oprah's producers. Interesting, I guess. Anyway, for a rainy day in the Hamptons you could do much worse. The sweet potato fries were awesome. Btw, our Australian waitress reminded me a of Olivia Newton John circa 1982.

Great service, busy restaurant that is very family friendly. The food is very good but the prices are quite high for a burger joint. Kitchen staff were very rigid about making any changes to the order- for example, ordered plain cheeseburger- received cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. Asked the waitress why we got the extras (customer really hates onions) and she said" that is the way they prepare the burgers- and I'm afraid to ask for it any other way because I will get yelled at". When you are paying $16 for a cheeseburger- you should be able to get what you want. Anyways, we will return. Probably one of the cheapest places to eat in town with table service.

Went with 6 people. Everyone ordered burgers. 5 of 6 were way overdone. We were in a rush, so didn't send them back. Decent beer list. Good dirty martini. I'd go back for a drink at the bar, but NOT for the food.

Frequenting restaurant since inception. Always thought it was a fun place to go to. Unfortunately I found the place to be very noisy and confusing this time. Hostess and desert attendant running around and music so loud that it impacted the service of both our waitress and busy boy. They both apologized and blamed it on the music being too loud. One of the waitress explained that this is the nature of a burger place. I disagree! I wanted to enjoy a fun dinner with my kids and yet walked out frazzled. Maybe lowering the volume a bit would make matters better for staff and guests.

Awesome burgers, delicious milkshakes and great service. I go there frequently in the winter and have never had a bad experience. While its on the pricey side for a burger, the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it!

The person who first told me about LT Burger said, and I quote, "Don't go there. Not even on accident." As is often the case, I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or sincere. I decided to check it out for myself. My first trip to LT Burger was awesome. I got a seat at the bar on a busy Friday afternoon and was super impressed by the bartender. I'm not sure if he was one of the managers as well, but his overall demeanor and control of the bar were impressive. He seemed like someone who really cared about his job and the restaurant. I ordered a fountain Coke, a Wagyu burger with pretty standard fixings (cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mayo), and a side of French fries. All of the food was good, albeit overpriced, but it's in the center of a very high-end tourist area. The burger was cooked to my liking--medium for Wagyu--and everything tasted very fresh. The shoestring fries were delicious, too. Oh! The couple next to me had onion rings which looked so good I ended up ordering some of them, too. DUL. My second trip to LT Burger was a few weeks later, on an equally busy weekday afternoon. I think the bartender I had that time was on his first or second shift; it took him a while to acknowledge me and refill my Coke, and he gave me incorrect change when I cashed out. The food on the second go-around, though, was delicious. This time I had a beef burger topped with chili, cheese, and fresh guacamole. A complete mess (I was wearing remnants of it on my shirt all day), but worth every drop. As I mentioned, it is a little expensive, but nothing out of place for the area. The restaurant itself is really cute, an ode to diners of the 50's and 60's but with a modern flare. I really liked how they had the seasonal specials painted on the white brick walls. Both times, there seemed to be a nice mix of locals on a lunch break, tourists, and families with children. After my two experiences, I realized that my original informant needs to learn how to better play his sarcasm; LT Burger is a great spot in The Hamptons.

I recommend this restaurant highly! Had a great dinner here with my wife and son. The food was excellent. We had burgers and shakes. The burgers were one of the best my son and I ever had. My wife really enjoyed her jerk chicken sandwich, as well. The hostess put us on a waiting list. But, a very nice young lady behind the counter seated us on the " to go" side, took our order and served it on plates, instead of in to go packages. Very nice and well above and beyond what she had to do. The restaurant itself is very nice, and centrally located right on Main Street. Hope to get back for breakfast one day soon.

Been here a few times and find consistency in the food. The burgers are good and always cooked to your liking. The fries and onion rings make it that much better. This place would be worth at least another star but every time I come here there are kids running around which kills it for me. Love kids, hate the parents that think a restaurant is a playground for them. Dont expect to relax at the bar with a beer when this is going on.

I've eaten here several times and you think I would have learned. The food is sub par, the milkshakes are sub par, and the service did not fit the "3rd time is a charm" adage as it was lame as well. Very disappointing, because it could have been a great place to catch a burger. Overpriced and underquality. Can't wait for the next restaurant to move in when this place finally closes up.

Delicious! This place needs a little help because I feel most reviews are based on the service and not the quality of the food. Yes you will def wait to eat here especially during peak eating times and on the weekends. I happened to get here about 8:30 on a Friday night with 11 people and only had a 1/2 hour wait! The waitress even asked for my cell and would call me when the table was ready, so we were able to walk around the town and shop until our table was ready, which you can't say you can do at most places. Most of the shops in Sag Harbor are open pretty late so it was nice. As for the food, one of the best burgers I have had, cooked exactly to your liking nice and juicy and the freshest toppings. I had the LT backyard burger and it was delicious. Best fried pickle appetizer I have ever had and you can't leave without having their milkshakes. It was so good had to go back Sunday for lunch before leaving! All in all it was a great experience and can't wait to go back and try more!

Fantastic. Best burger east of the Lobster Inn. And you better not leave without having one of their milk shakes. go for a run or ride later but make sure you try both. and this isn't just a dinner spot. went there for breakfast and while the service was bad (think bad timing more than anything else as they were btwn breakfast and lunch set up) the breakfast sandys were as good as the burgers. this is a must try in the best town in the hamptons

  • Joseph Y.

Totally different experience than most reviews above. We loved it here! The burgers were great and the shakes too. (get the key lime one) would give it a 4 because of the high price, but 5 on service we experienced and the food.

Remember the days of soda fountains and burger joints? Well, those days are alive and well in Sag Harbor, thanks to L T Burger. The adtmosphere is fun and wholesome. Families, business people grabbing a bit, friends grabbing a bit with friends (I fell into that category). The food is a mix of burgers and salads, all well prepared, all with a special twist, at a price that (at least given Hamptons pricing) won't break the bank. My burger was grilled to perfection, with a warm bun. My friend had a salad. We split a chocolate milkshake with (yuck) lowfat milk, which turned out to be among the most delicious shakes I've ever had! I've had the fries before, and they're great, too. Lots of atmosphere, here. A small counter area, some outdoor tables on Sag Harbor's Main St., alive and noisy. The service was great this time. In times past, it's been confused and slow, but always given with great warmth and sincerity. A fun place with great food!.

Ate here last night, a Saturday in August. They took our cell number to call so at least we could stroll the village while we waited the 45 minutes for a table to open up. It was packed and noisy but a fun vibe. Wile our order was taken promptly, the food took a while to arrive. It's only burgers! But the burgers were big and delicious and the fries were very good. So the question remains, do you want to pay $11-$16 for a burger plus $3.50 for fries? For me, it will be a few times a year, and definitely off season.

    (3)
  • Harrier T.

Followup: Lisa, Chef Laurent Tourondel's assistant, contacted me with an apology and offer to make it right. Unfortunately, the season is over for now, but I was impressed that she made this effort. Thank you, Lisa.

Stopped with friends after the hamptons half marathon and were promptly sat at the bar. The place is great for groups and families but the service was a little slow and burgers not prepared to order. The staff was friendly but my medium rare burger came out medium well. It was still tasty but it could have been better. The egg I ordered over easy to go with the burger also came out cooked all the way through. For a $17 burger, you'd expect it to be better. A plain burger starts at $10, and and bacon, cheeseburger at $15. You may be better off getting a combo meal that includes fries and a drink. Let's just say that Bay burger is the better place for burgers. They do make good shakes but some came out thicker and others were more watery.

    (3)
  • Thomas S.

while the food was good, the service was terrible. Went to breakfast the 4 of us spent 45.00. not a issue. The breakfast came out in all to go containers. They dropped the food and never came back to ask if we needed anything. I have a home here in Sag Harbor and I have seen this spot change hands many times over. No matter how fancy you make the place it comes down to customer service. This place wont last thought the winter. I own my own restaurant as well and it is not as fancy as this place. I always ensure that the customer service is always #1. I will be waiting for the vacant sign.

The burger meat isn't that great. None of the burgers we ate at the table was super good, just average. My Bellini was good though

With Sting on repeat, I'm concerned. Laurent Tourondel underwhelms. Coke supposedly regular is diet - I asked for it to be changed and still wrong (wrong tap, I suppose). I was in and out, nothing appealing on the menu for veggies: falafel (boring and fried), "vegetable salad" (cold and bland), heirloom salad (with bacon, really?!) and the caesar salad. I ordered the latter because I love caesar salad. It was massive, salty, over-dressed and includes hot pepper sliced baguettes:inventive? No-just wrong. It's simple and should be done well. The parmesan crisps just added to the saltiness of the salad. :( Milkshake was delicious but $7! It was the size of a grande iced coffee, not even a large size soda cup that is the norm at say Candy Kitchen or for those not local - Johnny Rocket's. All in all: :(.

From the same owners of BLT Prime which happens to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I thought that the LT Burger logo was looking a little familiar and the bus boy confirmed it. This place manages to have the feel of a diner, throwback burger joint, sports bar, and lounge all at once. Just a heads up, the menu doesn't have very many "light" options on it. We each ordered the Veggie Falafel on a delicious whole grain bun. It was spicy, full of savory flavors, I can't even pinpoint some of the flavors, but it was so very good. It was also enormous and I could only finish about half, we definitely could have ordered just one to share. Prices were very reasonable. Service was okay. We were seated right away and didn't have to wait long for our food. But the waitress took FOREVER to take our check - we had each made a separate trip to the rest room and she still hadn't stopped back at our table to pick it up! The bus boy was really helpful when we asked about how strict the two hour parking on Main Street was. "No, you'll get a ticket!" he warned us and told us where we could park for free without a time limit. He probably saved us more than the cost of our meal with his parking tip.

What a treat this place is! First of all the burgers are simply spectacular. We've had the standard cheeseburger ($11.00), the Kobe Beef Burger ($16.00) and the Skinny Dip (12.00) and every single one has been a hit. Add to that Fried Harmon's Pickles and superb 'Skinny" Fries and Onion rings and this can't be beat. (Word about the Pickles: Harmon's are pickles that can only be bought at Farmer's Market's around here. And it's genius that LT incorporated them into the menu.) The place is very attractive and busy constantly but we were able to sit at the bar within minutes of arrival every time. There's only one downside: a waitress who is simply awful. We didn't get a milkshake we ordered and she acutally "Yes you did!" And she did it again....to another friend who ordered a Turkey burger and who got a Beef Burger and who said "I ordered a Turkey Burger" and to whom this woman said "No, you didn't! Hopefully she'll be gone the next time we go.

Walked in at 120 on a Tuesday to find a somewhat empty restaurant and was told by the manager the kitchen was closed due to lack of chefs.

I was REALLY looking forward to eating here. Sag Harbor on a crowded Thursday night in August, though, meant the prospects of getting a table for four (without reservations) at this hip new Hamptons burger joint was slim-to-none. We were delighted, thus, when the hostess - who seemed pleasant enough - said we'd have a seat in about 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, noticing several empty, un-bussed tables, we stepped up to inquire about the status of our table. The cheery hostess regretted to inform us that she was instructed by the manager that she would not be allowed to seat anyone for at least another hour - because the kitchen was backed up. We regretted to inform her that we wouldn't be sticking around while the manager and kitchen got their act together. It's a darn shame, because those burgers looked SO scrumptious. From the other reviews, it seems as though our poor experience at LT Burger is more-or-less the norm and not the exception. Please get your act together. I'd really like to give you another chance .

Went on a Monday night for my daughters birthday and was a little disappointed that there was no waiter service, you had to order at the front and seat yourself. That was really not a problem because the burgers are so good and they were trying to save on money for a slow night in Sag Harbor on a Monday. The food came and it was delicious but it was served on wax paper on a tray. Are you kidding me, they could not afford paper plates, we were given no silverware and i could not blame the girl at the front because she was by herself acting as waitress, busboy, cashier and hostess. The tables were not cleared and it looked very messy. If you can look past all of that the food was very good and moderately priced...a burger, fries and drink will cost you about $$25. My personal favorite was the turkey burger with caramelized onions, yogurt sauce, cheddar cheese and sweet potato fries. Delicious

  • Rebecca T.

The food was great but the service was atrocious. Our beers took 15 minutes to show up, the waiters didn't even know what food they were bringing us (which shake is which, we asked. They did not know. Which burger was which, we asked. They did not know). Our mom's burger did not show up until the very end, at which point she asked for it "to go". You would think we would get a discount on our bill for this. Au contraire. In fact, our bill was off by several dollars because they overcharged us for a kid shake. For 3 adults and 1 child our bill was $79! I have eaten at fine dining establishments with amazing ingredients for the same price (with wine!) and did not expect this from a burger joint. Our waitress did not apologize once for the burger being forgotten. There are so many wait staff here, running into each other, blocking the aisles, like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. It's all too bad because the burgers and shakes are truly delicious.

The thing I remember most about LT Burger was their milkshakes. They were pretty BOMB!!!! If they didnt't have such great shakes, I would of probably given this place 1 or 2 stars. Well, for $9 a milkshake, it better be da bomb! Burgers and fries were mediocre. They're not giant.... don't expect huge portions. I got lucky and came with 3 other people so we got burgers with different sides. The skinny fries, sweet potato, waffle fires, and onion rings were pretty good. They werent mind blowing or anything. The burger weighed about 7 oz. I think regular burgers weigh 9 oz....so they are on the smaller side. Seriously, you're looking at $30 per person if you just get an LT burger, fries, and one of those special shakes. Death by oreo is one of my favorites. The decor is cool. It has a 1950's "shake shack" feel to it. The thing I didn't really like are the tables along the wall. It's great if you're the only people there and there aren't any other people next to you. But when the place fills up, you would probably feel that the table next to you is a little too close for comfort. Service is satisfactory. I really hate this, but I see it in a few restaurants. At the bottom of the checks, there are several percentages suggesting on the tip. I think it's tacky. Casinos are the types to do such things.... I wouldn't expect a place in the Hamptons to have it. Oh well..... I'd come back just for the shakes.

    (3)
  • Tommy J.

All the locals know that EVERY restaurant out here has burgers...great burgers...specialty burgers. So, don't believe reviews about LT not having great service and food. Their menu doesn't stop at burgers either...there are daily specials, salads, shakes, and whatnot. The staff is courteous, and it's my observation that most reviews less than 4 stars are not from locals like me who tend not to offer reviews on Yelp, but from people who expect more out here in "THE HAMPTONS" than they do in say...in Nassau County or any of NYC's 5 Burroughs.

Came here this past Sunday for lunch as I was in the area. One of my favorite casual spots to grab a meal in the Hamptons. Burgers are delicious. I've had the Mexican Burger and the Smashed smoke. Both equally as good. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of the loud kids and generally noisy atmosphere. To avoid that however, I sit at the bar. I've had the same server at the bar both times and she's excellent. Also fun for people watching, as you are right in the heart of Sag Harbor Village. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

From Bryant Park to Sag Harbor, you certainly can't go wrong with LT Burger. Everyone in our group was happy with the various things they ordered (wings, burgers, hot dog)... And then there was my turkey burger... Possibly the best burger I have ever set my lips to. Fresh cilantro, avacado, and organic seasoned turkey meat on a soft onion roll. Yes please. The prices are high and it doesn't come with fries (you'd expect that for its location) and the hostess was nothing but rude.. But the food made up for it ten times over.

Yesterday I visited Sag Harbor for the first time and had lunch here. The place was clean, brightly lit, and our waitress was great. There were only a few groups dining for lunch but I'm assuming that this is typical since it's off peak season. Me and my colleagues shared BBQ wings and their garlic wings! Both were delish and had the prefect amount of sauce! As an entree, I had the LT Burger (lt sauce on the side) with sweet potatoes fries. Yummers!

My friends and I went here after kayaking out east. It was a nice place with a cozy dining area, they can fit lots of people inside which is good. The wait for a table wasn't bad at all (15-20 mins), but they do have first come first serve at the bar area which is nice. We shared fried pickles which were really tasty. For a drink, i went with their oreo chocolate shake. If you are a fan of oreo's, this is a must. It was by far the best shake I have ever drank. It is a little pricey for the volume of shake, but it was delicious. I had the LT burger and it was cooked perfectly and had a nice balance of flavor. Will definitely return soon!

Absurdly wonderful. Can't fathom why anyone would give this place less than 4 stars. Heirloom tomato salad in July? Yes. And it was excellent. Glad I don't even check the reviews.

One of the greatest burgers and fries ever. Juicy with thick bacon and cheese. This rates with the burger from Old Homstead in Manhattan. Wow. One carp: 11 for a crummy glass of chard in a casual place!. The beer selection is fabulous and as they should a very nice waiter allowed me to first try a beer before I ordered it. Class. We gave a big tip in cash in his hands and he thanked us profusely which is incredibly rare. My trip to Sag Harbor is 70 minutes, so I , alas, will not go too often . I wish they would open in Port Jefferson where I live. Oh what a great place. JIM

Stopped here after a disappointing visit to the whaling museum. Terrific burger and chicken sandwich, and good swordfish sandwich. We were too full for shakes, but we should have come back in the evening instead of going to Scoop du Jour in East Hampton. Yes, it's expensive, but lunch is filling enough to sub for dinner. Also, think about how much you spend on pre-fab food at a place like Cheesecake Factory. This is much better. Nice kid-friendly vibe also.

Burgers were good, but rather expensive. Asked for medium and got very medium rare. If you like 5 guys you will like this place, at twice the price. Fries were excellent and the berry shake was great. Seems like they are tying to act gourmet, fries standing up in a metal cup and whatnot. Good food at a high price, but then again nothing is inexpensive in the Hamptons.

Revisited LT Burger on a slow night in the spring. It was crowded but the service was terrible. What I really want to talk about is that we were served SPOILED FOOD! Cole slaw was sour and the dairy had obviously expired, the meat in the chicken was cheap quality and was full of veins, sinew, and cartilage and most of all it had MSG in it. I broke out in a rash, and my husband and I vomited and went to the bathroom ALL NIGHT. Do not go!

While the service is a bit less than cordial at times, the food is really delicious, and the beer selection includes my favorite beer. But I simply must mention the S'mores Milk Shake, which is so utterly incredible that it will make you start cursing. I had one of these several-hundred-calorie delights today, and I pretty much can't wait until the next time I am there and can have another one. This shake was exactly what I was looking for after a 3-mile walk along the beach, and did not disappoint.

The place decor is great!!! My Fav color is orange so I was right at home, sat outside with my husband and had the best brunch/breakfast on Father's Day. The waters and hostes were very nice to us. The food was amazing: We had -Huevos Rancheros -Salmon Bagel plater YUMMMM and the Bathrooms are very clean!!! GO GO GO!!!

I don't get all they hype this place receives. After reading about it in an NY Times article, I figured we were in for some seriously great burgers. To me, it was just average and lacking just a bit of extra somethin'. The Mexican is very, very messy. Like get your Yelp bib out with a fork and knife messy. Unfortch, they forgot the avocado on it but I was so hungry I ate it without saying anything. (I would have spouted off angry expletives if they had taken it away from me!) My husband's LT burger was requested medium but hit the table well done. Again, we should have said something and requested it be redone, but he was just as hungry as I was. When shelling out $14 for a burger you want it right the first time. The fried pickles could be better - they had way too much breading on them. However, get extra ranch dressing. It's out of this world awesome. They're one of few places in town that stay open late. We were surprised to walk right in at 8:30pm on a Friday night. AND, we were sat immediately with no reservations... shocking for the Hamptons.

Good, not great. Smoked Gouda Fries, excellent but extremely small portion. I got the LT Backyard Burger. Burger itself was very good, meat was delicious. Bacon was very good if not a little overcooked, but not burnt/charred. LT sauce was meh, and the NY Cheddar left something to be desired. The burger and bacon plain would have been a better way to go. For Dessert I got Fried Oreos which were delicious. As good as you can imagine. Wife had the Hazlenut Crazy NutShake which I tried and was also delicious. Meal for 2 to get burgers and dessert came close to 70 dollars, but this is Sag Harbor so hard to hold that against them. I enjoyed the atmosphere and location. Overall good, but if you are going to be a hip trendy gourmet burger place you need to nail the toppings and they did not. Still not a bad choice.

So the food here is terrific-- let's just start by saying that. The shakes are the best I've ever had and the choices for burgers are plenty. What marks this review down is the high price and unreasonably bad staff. Given it is a busy restaurant with many a tourist inside, but how rude the waitstaff here was notably worse than any restaurant I've gone to out here (I grew up in Southampton). What struck me the most was that when we went to pay (3 people with a $60 bill), we each put in a 20 for the bill, added a tip under a glass, and put the money in a clip so to ensure none could be left out. As we left, our waitress (finally acknowledging we were there) pulled us aside and noted that $20 was missing from the tip. "It must have fallen out, but I am going to need the missing money", she said. Unanimously knowing the bullshit that was going on, I was sent to check the table where it turns out she was right about the missing part. We paid her the extra 20, and agreed to never go again. Since being there I have dissuaded all friends from going there in fear of literally being robbed by the restaurant they are eating at, and hope that the person looking at this review looks somewhere else if they want a good meal. I'd suggest Nichol's!

This is the quaint burger shack that everyone wants at the beach. Industrial fans hang from the ceilings and specials are written along the white plastic brick walls. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very REASONABLE for the hamptons. Best yet, they don't take reservations so just walk in on a night your bonfire gets rained out vs. not having a hot reservation to fall back on. The food is good. Predominantly burgers with some seafood mixed in (ie, lobster roll specials). The Backyard Burger is my go to and the Fried Pickles are a MUST (the smoked/spicy russian dressing makes it). Friend loved the veggie burger too. The New England Clam Chowder was not all they hyped it up to be (apparently voted #1 in the hamptons by some one). The shakes are good too, although very heavy. Had the Oreo one and it was essentially a meal. Definitely a casual meal winner for the hamptons, although may be expensive for take-out.

Don't do takeout from this place unless you are prepared to confirm and reconfirm every step of the way. Take out incredibly disorganized on a Saturday night. Took 25 minutes from the time they told me the food would be ready before the order was complete. Half the food came out on time ish. Then waited another 25 minutes for the rest of the food they told me it would be a rush. It wasn't. I wasn't able to eat dinner with half my family.

Went this past weekend at brunch for eggs and coffee. Forty minutes after ordering at the counter, I will say that the food was good. But disorganization and the wait was annoying, and it was not crowded. Seems like maybe they run with a junior or skeleton staff in the earlier hours.

I usually like to write about a place only after I've gone a few times. I've been to "LT Burger in the Harbor" a handful of times. First things first.....it is co-owned by celebrity chef Laurent Tourondel. Do you care? No? Read on.... Now that that's out of the way- on the surface- this place is another burger joint. There are however little tweaks here and there that make it a little different. There is a nice vibe to the place- it seems packed most of the time. The crowd is mixed from families with kids, to groups of friends- ages mixed. No one's out of place. There is a bar, alcohol, and enough variation in the menu that if you don't want a "burger"- you'll find something to eat. The kids will be satisfied. Burgers have their "styles" (ie: different toppings trying to be unique). Not bad, nothing fancy. There is chili, multiple types of shakes, variation of fries- whatever you want to cheat on your diet. LT burger is going for the sum of its parts- not necessarily each individual part. Think about that. Hint: Ask for the sometime "special drink" - which isn't on the menu- "Brazilian Bikini Wax"- good stuff- just make sure you clarify it's the drink you want......

Not a bad burger but way over priced but hey, it's the Hamptons. I had the backyard burger, done rare. It came out medium rare, but close enough. The bacon added a nice smoky flavor. The shoestring fries were excellently done. Fun drinks selections and a decent house red of good value. Good service... pleasant surroundings... not a bad place. You can get just as good burger at Five Guys at half the price, but hey, as I've said....it's the Hamptons. Besides, you can't get a beer at Five Guys.

  • Patricia L.

If I had to describe this burger joint in one word, I'd have to use "Overrated". Their burger patty was bland and their shakes, despite having cool ingredients (S'mores!), were lackluster upon presentation and taste. Maybe the hype around this place set my expectations a bit high but Cheesecake Factory's burger patties taste MUCH better than LT's.

  • Kevin H.

The food was decent, over priced really for what you get, although I guess for the area it is appropriate. The service was what really killed it for me. The bartender just did not seem like she wanted to be there. I had to force to get her attention, and she moved extremely slow for everything. The milkshakes we got were pretty good no real arguments there, maybe would have had a better experience if we dined at a table instead of the bar

  • Melissa P.

The few times I've been here is always because of the same reason - looking for a nice spot to dine outside in Sag Harbor. While it does offer that, the service is lacking (in that it's SLOW, servers are always friendly though). The burgers are decent enough, but the shakes are basic and the nachos are pretty bad. They're also pretty over priced for what you get.

  • Jody F.

Damn, if this isn't one of the better burgers I have ever had. And I have had a LOT. Visited recently for lunch and the experience was terrific. Very family friendly with an energetic vibe. The milkshakes are more like ice cream through a straw and the burgers are top notch. Get a combo and you've done yourself a favor. Staff was very friendly (although the maitre-d was a bit of a jerk; the waiters were terrific). I got the bacon cheeseburger and the 114 (chocolate, brownie, almonds)milkshake.. and walked out a happy man. The "Gone Bananas" and Vanilla milkshakes were also terrific. Can't say it loud enough: FIVE STARS!!!

Was in the area for a family outing and stopped here with some family for lunch. This joint left much to be desired. The service was a bit on the cold side. It took them 10 minutes just to take down our order and the place wasn't even that busy. The food was lackluster, to say the least. I get it that this place is a burger joint, but the clam chowder is SEVERELY over priced (a cup for $10 and a bowl for $20!?!?) and pretty mediocre. I had the BBQ buffalo wings, which were sloppy and puny. The burger was pretty good though, however. This place is nice on the inside. Has a cool little bar and supposedly have specials on Sundays during the football season. Place has potential to be better...

Good food...very very spotty service...like everyone working there is stoned out of their minds. And it seems the owners have only hired people who look like each other, hard to tell the staff apart, they look like very good looking stoned clones.

Decent food at nutty prices, but like other Laurent Tourondel restaurants I have been to, the service was atrocious. Judging by the other reviews, I'm not the only one who had a bad experience with the service here. Save your cash and go across the street for a slice at Conca D'Oro instead, or if you want a burger, go to the Corner Bar.

Been here a couple of times out of late night necessity. EPIC veggie burger, decent wings but the other burgers were just ok, and I went with a table of 10 so I got a good variety. Service was shoddy and everything was TOTALLY over priced. * Insert internal dialogue... SIGH what did you expect its Sag Harbor??? Mixed drinks were NOT GOOD and were $12. I wish this place was better, but with average food, expensive prices, terrible drinks and lame service, I can only give 2 stars.

I had high hopes, took a look inside in August, brought a menu home, decided to come back when the tourists went home. So, we went this weekend. Is the food bad? No, it's ok. Is the service bad? Yeah, not so good. The waiters were grouped behind the counter complaining about a no show manager. Our food took nearly 30 minutes to be served, just 2 burgers and chicken tenders. The kids shake was served in a glass to a toddler. We overheard that they only had 5 highchairs, so customers were waiting for highchairs to become available, even though there were plenty of tables open. My suggestions: you serve hamburgers, do it faster, do it with more imagination, how about some seasonal toppings, also families are attracted to burger places...... be ready for them. Buy 5 more highchairs, get some paper cups with tops for the kids, how about some crayons or other entertainment for the kids. And, oh yeah, please sweep the floor more regularly. If lunch for 3 is going to cost me $45 I don't want to see what the last diners ate on the floor around my table.

Food was mediocre (everything was over or under cooked except the fries), service was slow, and management was defensive when we gave feedback. Unpleasant experience in lovely Sag Harbor. Save yourself. Go elsewhere.

I let my kids talk me into going to LT Burger last night when we were in a pinch for someplace to eat. Big mistake. It's funny, I had an awful experience at the LT Burger in NYC a few months ago, the only other time I've been prompted to post a negative Yelp review. I should have known better. The place is cute and family friendly. After a 20 minute wait we were seated at an okay table, though the whole place is very drafty in the winter. Our young male waiter came to us twice before we were ready to order, but then when we were ready, we couldn't find him to order. We ordered a $10 cup of clam chowder, a classic burger with fries and a shake $18, and another burger for $14 (note, it's just a burger, no fries, 7 0z). After a long wait, we saw a milkshake come up on the bar which looked like it might be ours. 10 minutes later our food came. I told the woman who delivered it that we were owed a shake, but not to give us the one that had come up at the bar some time earlier. We never got our shake. I then flagged down our original waiter about the missing shake. He went and tried to serve us the shake that had now been sitting on the bar for at least 15 minutes. We asked for a new one. Several minutes later, we got one which my kids said was luke cold. When we questioned the waiter, he insisted it was fresh made. (What made matters worse, was that it was some brownie shake my kids picked out that had a cloying puree of brownies mixed throughout the shake...totally gross. Even my 10 and 13 year old boys didn't want to finish it.) Eating our meal, we found there was no more ketchup left in large container on our table. Asked our neighboring table for theirs, but it too was empty. Couldn't find a waiter so went and grabbed a ketchup from the bar. Total lack of service was reflected in my tip. Burgers are tasty, but seem just a step up from fast food, not that different from Bay Burger, a cafeteria style Sag Harbor food place for about $6. Certainly having a burger at the Paradise Cafe in Sag Harbor or Rowdy Hall or Citta Nuova in East Hampton is a much nicer plate of food and superior atmosphere. Incidentally, not once during on meal did anyone ask how our food was or if we needed anything. Upon leaving the restaurant, no one said "thank you" or "have a good night." No way to run a restaurant. Because of the kid appeal, LT will probably survive fine, but it's really a shame that the market is so indiscriminating as to support a restaurant like this.

Went to LT Burger last night and was really disappointed in the service. We walked in and were told it would be 20 minutes. I checked in after 20 minutes, and was told 5 more minutes, We were finally seated after 50 minutes to a table that had been empty 20 minutes earlier. I'm confused do you need more staff? Maybe you need a better manager? We were seated in the smaller room and heard the other 4 tables all complaining about the service. The fries were cold that were given to the table next to us and the waiter had some attitude when dealing with the table across from us. My boyfriend ordered the special and it was not special at all. I got he LT burger and thought it was ok. We waited about 30 minutes for these "special" burgers. If you run a burger joint you might want to figure out how you can seat people quickly and get out a burger under 15 minutes. Hopefully this place is working out some staff issues and pulls it together before the end of summer.

I visited LT Burger right before the 4th of July fireworks took off. This place is like an adult ice cream shop. More mature options for the refined palate and boozy ice cream concoctions. Also a great coffee/espresso menu. The staff was more than willing to make me an off menu item, an affogato, which tasted amazing. If I had found this spot earlier in my trip, I would've come back for a full meal. There were so many delicious sounding options. Adding to the experience, I ran into Ruggy decked out in his 4th of July apparel! I'm sure his review will be more captivating :)

Just had breakfast here with a friend and the food was great! We both ordered the fried egg & bacon sandwich. It was exactly what we wanted. The service on the other hand was... AWFUL. It took a little while for us to order our food, but we finally tracked down our waitress to place the order. The food came in a timely manner. The issue was after we finished it took over 30 minutes for us to get a check. We also asked for the check about 3 times. The table next to us had an even more unfortunate experience with their breakfast. They ordered right after us and first received the wrong food. It was meant for the table next to them. Then they didn't even get their meals until after we were finished with ours. I could tell they weren't very pleased. Overall great food and not so great experience.

This place is terrible. I wish I could have an opinion of the food, but I've been sitting at my table in an uncrowded restaurant for about an hour food-less. They have nice drink selections, is that why they're making me wait? To get drunk off boozy lemonade and forget about wasting the day away? In what world does it take an hour to cook a burger? Sorry but this is the third time I've come here and I'm not coming back. Don't waste your time!

Loved the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant! The staff was very nice and attentive. They were really accommodating with switching around sides and giving us options. We got the fish and chips special, veggie salad, fried pickles, wheat berry salad, and the veggie burger (I know, I know, a bunch of vegetarians at a burger place, whats the point?). The food was all great, except the dressing on the veggie salad was too strong, so maybe get it on the side. They also gave my friend a cupcake for her birthday! Great restaurant, would come again!

Too bad this review isn't completely on food. The food here is great (it deserves 5 stars), perfect for kids old and young. I'm gluten free and vegan-ish and I always am satisfied. Burgers for everyone, sweet potato fries, lettuce wraps for the sans-bun people and fabulous shakes that include R-rated choices for the 21 & over crowd. The service is without a doubt the worst service in Sag Harbor. When you order ask for your check at the same time because you won't see your waiter again. I've eaten here about ten times busy or (today at lunch) empty and it's always the same. Lots of workers, they all look happy, they smile a lot....don't know what the issue is.

Came in late Sunday evening for a quick bite. Our server Tom was great! I was torn between the tuna or the standard burger. Tom suggested the tuna and by was I happy!!!! The tuna steak was prepared they way I asked and the fries were oh so good! The tuna steak though I must say all the components were spot on so as not to outshine the fish. My friend had the burger with bacon and the Gouda fries! He, like myself savored every bite. The only reason I gave them two stars- the kitchen apparently forgot our order and we waited for over an hour before being served. Again, if it wasn't for Tom, we would have just left.

How this place holds onto its 3 star rating is beyond me. I am quite frankly shocked that the "people of the hamptons" would even consider walking in here! Stay away!!! Horribly overpriced, extremely slow service and I could have prepared food better than this at home! Laurent Tourondel would be appalled if he had witnessed the extremely poor level of service and had seen and tasted the food that hit our table.. For starters, it's a Friday night of labor day weekend. Clearly the staff has checked out and are ready for summer to be over. The service was brutal! Not once did someone come over to fill our water.. The waitress disappeared after taking our order and when I couldnt find her i flagged down a bus boy who looked at me like i was crazy when i sent back my cold clam chowder, which claims to be the best in the hamptons??? Ha! I want to know whos voting! If watery, clam free soup wins best of hamptons...they need new judges! As for the food..."watermelon crab salad" , was tasty, I have to admit, but two tiny pcs of watermelon??? Tiny bits of crab which I struggled to find??? The burgers we had - one came out rare, instead of medium and it took way too much time to get someone to cook it further. The roll on the kids burger was overcooked and hard. Then the French fries..,two of our orders came out with rock hard, overcooked fries! They matched the bun on the kids burger. We sent them back and they came back only slightly better and cold! So with cold soup, over cooked fries, under cooked burger, do you think anyone could have come and apologized??? Hey, LT, you and your entire staff should be ashamed! Folks...Spend your money elsewhere!!!

I normally like LT, but lately I noticed that the service has gotten steadily worse. Food is still good- although nothing special. We got there at noon on the dot and were seated immediately. After ordering, we waited 30 minutes without our waiter stopping by. Finally, I asked when our food would be coming. The response was "this isn't McDonald's and it takes 20-30 mins as our food is made to order". I thought that was an uncalled for response and will not go back.

Love LT Burger. The vegetarian burger is the best one I have ever had. Nice waiter named Tom. Prices are very high, but hey, we live int he Hamptons, right? It's very kid friendly, so if you don't like kids, pick another place.

This is a follow up to my 9/15/2014 review. At that time my compalin was only about the annoying little brats at a restaurant where the bar is the focal point. Things, alas, have gotten worse. The prices have gone up and the portions have become miniscule. Ordered the heirloom tomato salad for $15 topped with a burger for $7. The salad barely filled 1/4 of the bowl. Beware bartender Sarah may not pour any liquor in your drink. We both ordered soda with lemon vodkas. But we could not taste any liquor. We asked Sarah and she said she would give us "more" and proceeded to open a brand new bottle. There was one bottle of lemon vodka and it was unopened. Thanks to the manager who reversed the charges but still it ruined a nice night dealing with this.

Wifey and me had two egg white omelets. Had to ask for everything twice. It was a Sunday morning and our first night in town. I will say the help was inattentive but still pleasant enough. Had to send back the maple syrup sausages as undercooked. Omelets were huge and the toast had loads of salty butter. I must say overall the breakfast was delicious! But 43 bucks for breakfast(for two). I left 7 dollars despite the suggestion at the bottom of the bill.

My boyfriend and I just walked into this restaurant. Although several waitresses were standing nearby and saw us, none of them greeted us, so we sat down. One of the waitresses snottily said to another, "so it's like my first time going to a restaurant, so I'm just going to sit down without talking to anybody." We got up and left. Not saying it's a race thing, but... It was probably a race thing.

Had a fantastic breakfast here yesterday morning. Our server was a stud. Very knowledgeable, quick thinker, and a hustler. Loved him. Food was superb. We just ordered simple items--oatmeal, eggs, turkey sausage, etc. Coffee was excellent. Only drawbacks were the iced tea and Greek yogurt. Tea was a bit stale, yogurt I think may have been frozen at one point because it was separated when served.

We are regulars.....great burgers...they always come out piping hot and done exactly the way we ordered them. BUT......get ready for a long wait for a table, and then longer wait for your food. The food takes a long time, even if the place is half-empty. It's just how they work. Also, seems to have weak air conditioning....seems always hot in there.

We love this place and are regulars here. The Heritage Turkey Burger is my favorite. Small but nice selection of wines including a few East End choices; great to have some local wines on the menu. My only complaint is that the service is sometimes unbearably slow, as was the case tonight. Please, LT Burger, work on it!

The LT Burger (Medium rare, Cheddar cheese, bacon, LT sauce, and the works) was possibly the best burger I've ever had. I don't need to go into my burger eating history to justify that. We've all had our fair share and this one was it! The cheese taste crept through its compatriots like a true underdog. The bacon was crisped to perfection (keyword: crisped! not hardened!) and the patty itself, wow. Add in an order of skinny fries, and the Sag O' Harbor (Chocolate Mousse, Oreo, Godiva, Amaretto) milkshake. Mmmmmmmm. Service was great, prompt, and the dry-erase writing on the pseudo-brick walls added the perfect touch of kitschy ambience. Self-reflexive irony in the self-conscious Hamptons is always appreciated. Not sure if that was the intention, but this place was a great place to stop in for two weary travelers. Minimal frills and a filling meal. Will return!

Frequent LT burger all the time. However the past time I went waitress who's name was Jackie, was as rude as can be. Gave nasty looks because we asked after the food came out for extra stuff we ordered on our burgers that they forgot and proceeded to slam the plate down when she brought it over and walked away. Brought the check over before we even finished eating. So shocked at how we were treated.. Have to question if I will ever come back.

Have eaten here twice on this trip and so far the food was great. Our group had turkey burgers, salads, cheese burgers, tuna, and much more. The veggie burger was not that great and the food took forever to cook but over all enjoyed the experience.

Lucky enough to have a friend in the Hamptons, but I now I am even luckier, I ate an LT Burger in Sag Harbor. We split a Seven Peppercorn and Mountain Blue burger. Angus beef. Madeira mushrooms, and cartelized onions and a bun that reminded me of challah. The burger was light and incredibly juicy. It was clear that no one had idiotically pressed it down with a spatula. The burger came with excellent skin-on fries and we ordered a side of slaw. The serving size was very ample. The slaw was slightly sweet with a dose of vinegar and a bit of "kick". The restaurant is very attractive- white tile with writing on the walls- subway chic. I would eat here again in a minute. Prices... NY style but worth every penny. Glad we shared. I am already dreaming of my return.

LT Burger you broke my heart. I used to love you but we took a nice winter drive out east and WOW am I DISAPPOINTED. My top two things that I always come for - the gouda fries and the fried pickles..... what the hell happened? My fries were frozen waffle fries (WHYY??), and I could have sworn it used to come with good fries more than just a slop full of cheese and a ridiculous amount of chives (-_-) where was the bacon? Did you guys switch chef's?? SALT EVERYTHING. If I wanted that flavor in my food, I could have just bought a salt lick from the store and had at it instead. It would have been cheaper. EVEN THE PICKLES WERE OVER SALTED. SERIOUSLY??? Dude the pickles used to be nice and fluffy and thick cut.... This time it was overcooked and a few of the pickles were so thin I'm not even sure I tasted them, I ended up pulling all of the batter off because a. it was too salty, and b. it was just too much batter to pickle ratio. Super pissed. We even tried something new went for the wings which they told us were great because they are baked then fried to be crispy (not). Oh and um... putting extra salt does not make them spicy buffalo wings, sorry. Ciao LT burger, I won't be back for a VERY long time.

Phenomenal burgers and outrageously good milk shakes. They have "R-Rated" milk shakes, which are just another Long Island excuse to put booze in something. I was a little put off by the decor... The place seemed really hipster when we walked in... But I absolutely didn't care when my shake arrived. I wish the shakes were bigger, but they probably just saved me from myself. Our waiter was fantastic. The burgers are juicy and delicious. An absolute gem.

The food is DELICIOUS (but expensive) so it makes me really upset that the service is horrible. The staff must be told to wear their oidest, dirtiest, most ripped apart jeans they own because I was appalled. The service is actually better when its SLAMMED than it is when there is 3 tables--- a little weird. After watching a completely drunk customer stumble around the bar and ask the bartender if its ok to bring the rest of her drink to go, and the bartender saying "As long as I don't see it" and turn her back, I don't think I can go back in there.

The place is cute and family/kid friendly but they lost our ticket and after we asked 3 x they were and almost an hour waiting for one burger and 1 hot dog. They said the order got lost in the kitchen which was odd since they then retook our order again at the table. They put a rush on the second ticket but still took some time before we saw any food. Then offered an ice cream as a comp. probably wouldn't have been so annoying if the burger was great but it was mediocre at best

Tried LT Burger this afternoon at the recommendation of my father in law. I'm confused to why he loves this place so much. Started with the fried pickles appetizer; pretty tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. My husband had the pulled pork special; he liked it, but wasn't overly impressed. I had the dirty chicken sandwich. It was alright. The milkshake was delicious! I think what mostly swayed my thoughts on this local hangout were two things. 1) The amount of children running around, unattended and bumping into customers and servers. 2) The hostess/maybe manager?? - I watched her stand at the front for 15 minutes, talking on the phone (and not with a customer) while the servers took care of seating guests. She then proceeded to go behind the bar, where she again started talking (not to customers, but complaining to another employee), followed by her walking to the back near the bathroom, again, where she was talking to another employee. There were 2 waiters who seemed to really be working hard, and she just stood there. The waiters were good, especially one fellow who looked like he was the hostess, waiter, and busboy all in room (I think he was Spanish - sorry!); the bus boy was also a very hard worker.

Burger dreams don't exactly come true here... but given the lack of great burger joints in the area, LT Burger (and McDonalds) basically satisfies the craving. They're not the most flavorful or juicy or perfectly cooked, but the menu options are good as are their sides. At least the space is cool so you feel cool while eating a mediocre meal. It also helps to close your eyes and imagine an In-N-Out or Umami Burger while you're at it (yep, I'm totally west coast). I've tried "The Standard" ($11) for which it is appropriately named. It's standard... aka boring. I guess that's my bad for ordering it. The "LT Backyard" ($13) is a step up, with bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce. The curly fries are good, especially with 4 sides of ranch (since they come in the tiniest cups in the world) and the kobe hot dog ($12) is actually a good pick as well, and probably the most expensive, normal sized hot dog I've ever eaten. They have a huge list of fat ass sounding desserts and milkshakes... some even with booze. So that's a plus. Prices are a little on the high side and portions sizes on the small side. And service can be hit or miss. Like I said, it's not a burger dream come true, but hey, at least burgers don't come here to die either.

A good burger joint limited by the niche it has chosen. While it provides creative burger options -- falafel and more -- and real good and interesting sides -- fried pickles and more -- it is still just a fancy burger joint. Go with the kids, or for lunch, we'll have dinner, 5 minutes a way at Estia's Little Kitchen.

I used to love the place. WHAT HAPPENED???? The food is NOT the same anymore. They changed recipes or something. Sorry LT, if in the area it is for Rated R shakes only. It really is sad when a place goes from 5 stars to 2 for me and the only reason for the 2 stars is the shakes.

I liked the family friendly burger joint atmosphere- clean, not fussy. The combo of 2 way chuck and short plate is pretty awesome. It reminded me of Slater's 50/50 in San Diego a lot, though this is pure beef and you can order it medium rare. I got the 7 Peppercorn and Mountain Blue medium rare...not sure where the peppercorn went, but the caramelized onion was awesome and the cheese is just right. It's on the oily side but the potato bun soaks it up just fine. There's no fresh veggie in the burger though, and I think it could've benefited from some crunch. Good, but pricey. Presentation also could've been better because my burger came on a large plate with a single pickle. It just looked off. Service is existent but they don't bother you much. They pretty much left me alone because I sat at the bar with a book. The shake menu looked pretty enticing- they have both normal and spiked- but I was so full after I didn't get that far. Next time!

"Pricey, but oh-so-tasty burgers & shakes" Fresh, tasty burgers. Creative homemade ones or build-your-own. AMAZING shakes--I HIGHLY recommend the Death by Oreo shake. My boyfriend had a LT Backyard Burger (Cheddar & Bacon) and I got a Heritage Turkey Burger (avocados, tomato & lettuce) with an add on of cheddar & bacon. BOTH FRESH TASTING & DELISH! 2 burgers with 2 add-ons (w/o fries), 2 shakes, one mac-n-cheese(that tastes like Velveeta with bacon)=$65. Staff was quick and friendly. We were in and out within 30-40 mins. Chairs are pretty uncomfortable and hard on your bum, unless your on the bench with pillows, but those seats are for half your party for most of the seating in the place. Personally, I'd make a stop again because it was so tasty, but share food next time to keep costs down. Maybe even step in for a quick cocktail or shake to-go!

So so, if you're looking for burgers. The meat is dry and flavorless, but certainly not bad. If you ask for cheese, there appears to be something that looks like it might have been cheese that will be melted on to your patty, but it is so sparse, you can't tell if it is cheese or if someone forgot to take the shrink plastic wrap off the 95/5 meat-to-fat ratio patty and it just melted on there. The waffle fries are... Waffle fries. The place gets 3 stars because the onion rings are excellent, and they make an exceptional milkshake. Otherwise, I'd skip it.

We tried LT burger early in the season very disorganized on a busy Sunday. I ordered the clam chowder, the menu stated it was the best in the area. When it was delivered to the table it was potato soup it had no clams in it. It took about 15 minutes to get the waitress she took it back to the kitchen and the chef did come out apologize saying they ad the clams after its made and they had forgotten to put the clams in. In the mean time the rest of the party had finished there lunch and my chowder had not made it back to the table. Just as we were leaving (this was my main course) they returned with the chowder it had been reheated in a microwave and was curdled. I paid and left. Yesterday we decided to give it another shot it was a Wednesday at about 2pm so we thought maybe they were just overwhelmed the first time. I ordered a hamburger to play it safe my husbands burger came out with a cockroach smashed against the french fry tin. We were absolutely shocked and sicken. The waitress took it to the back with attitude and basically wiped it off brought the same fries back with out an apology or" what can we do to make this right". We left and did pay but I will never set foot back in there again.

I wouldn't go here again if my eyebrows were on fire and this place had the only water in Sag Harbor. A half hour wait was fine...I guess. The horrible table for four jammed in between two other tables was doable because we were hungry. It started to get bad when the table next to us got served before us... Then the waiting game. Waitress came back and tells us after 30 minutes that she forgot to enter our orders to the kitchen. We were flabbergasted but hungry. She offered us another milkshake (that the bartender had made by accident) also some cold chicken fingers. We asked for a manager and he just shrugged. Horrible. Horrible experience.

Great chilled burger joint with some quality food - loved the Gouda fries and American puff milkshake.

I have to be fair to this restaurant, the food is really good and the service has definitely stepped up. I have since been back a couple times since my first review and had a totally different experience. Breakfast: super easy menu to find something you'd like. Nice portions, Great if your dining with children. The burgers are phenomenal! Can't go wrong with any of them! Favorite shake - death by Oreo Atmosphere is cool - look out for some celebrity signatures on the wall. Fun place!

Great burgers! Really great. Service is good. Loud enough to bring your whole loud family (which we have). There is an Oreo Shake that is pure sin. Then, there a deep fried Oreo dessert that tastes like a doughnut with a wonderful surprise inside. Good times.

Cool vibe, nice place, friendly staff. I'm not sure about the hype of the place but I've had a few milkshakes and burgers here. They're definitely good. No complaints here. Pricey for a burger joint but it's on the strip in Sag Harbor so that's to be expected! Cool place to bring the kids or just go with friends. I'll be back soon!

Came here for lunch during the off season, so there wasn't a wait at all for my girlfriend and I. The atmosphere is warm, light and inviting: wood floors, white tile walls and an open dining area. My girlfriend and I split the nut milkshake and an order of waffle fries. When we first try a burger place we tend to stick to the basic burger, so we both ordered the Standard which was cooked medium well for both of us - even though I ordered medium, not that big of a deal. The burgers are 7oz, just short of a half pound, and were enough food for the both of us, and combined with the milkshake - Nutella and almonds - we walked out full and happy. My only issue was the price, although it is the Hamptons and I expect to pay more, $11 for a standard burger without cheese is a little steep - it wasn't the best burger, but it was good and I would recommend it. The milkshakes are by far the most expensive, but like I said, could be split between two people - ours was $9. The full price of our meal was about $35 and I would recommend it for someone looking for a good burger and fries in the Hamptons, especially in the off season when so few businesses are open at all.

Great food, nice ambiance, and fun times at every visit. Not sure why this place has such a low rating because every time we have come here it's been great. The portions are good size, the food is great quality, and the decor is very different from most burger joints. Ps. The fried Oreos are a must!!! Take a few less bites of burger and save a little room for this delicious twist on a zeppeli

Delicious! Their waffle fries are to die for. Enjoyed both of my visits to LT Burger; everything was hot, delicious, and as ordered. It can be a bit pricey, but it's definitely good, quality food. Very cool, stylish interior. When I went, it was decked out for Halloween. Would definitely return!

As far as burger places go, this place is near the top of my list. I had the Mexican burger, which was bursting with flavor. The chili and the jalapenos really took it to the next level. I also had the waffle fries which tasted great but they could have given you more for the $4.75 price tag. The only knock i would have against this place is that the service was slow as a result of being overcrowded. And they should give you more fries for the price.
