Jimmy's is what you see is what you get. Nothing fancy, nothing spectacular, service is ok...but good food at a reasonable price. I had the NY strip with a salad (included) and veggies. Came out well prepared and a large portion. Would I go back...yes. But do not expect Del Fresco's in NYC.

Great meal for a great price. Wait staff was wonderful and attentive without being annoying.

I love it here. Steak is great and at a good price. Drinks are well made. Service is amazing. Location is great. Parking is great. #ImAFan

Average food, long wait times, expensive alcohol. Nothing really great here but I've always had good waitresses/waiters. Once came here with an ex for some function from her work. It was a nice place to host a gathering, however not cheap. If you've never been here it's worth a try, just don't go in with high expectations.

Jimmy's is a steak restaurant with a limited menu, but what they lack in choice they make up for in food quality. All the food is fresh and the prices are extremely reasonable. Something I don't like about Jimmy's is the waitstaff. The past three times I have been there the waitresses were slow and not very attentive. Last time the waitress took about ten minutes to come around to take our order, which is fine, but she smelled like she just got back from a smoke break. Also, when it was not busy, a bunch of waitresses were standing around talking, looking bored and almost bothered we were there. Despite sub-par service the past few times, the food has always been quality and the price is right.

I crave salmon, and their cajun salmon special is certainly craveworthy. Add the rice pilaf and I'm all set. P.S. The zucchini sticks with peppercorn dressing are something to write home about.

This place is a perfect 1st date spot.. Fresh bread and butter is brought out for you to munch on.. I ordered the rack of lamb cooked med rare with a baked potato for a side with a cup of one of the best tasting clam chowder. Along side was an Asian Pear Martini.. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection with a burst of flavor in every bite.. The Asian Pear Martini is to die for.. It taste just like the fruit and really creeps up on ya after a few.. One of my many favorite restaurants..

Always a delicious meal no matter what u get. Service is great and the menu is small enough not to complicate you with a selection. Zucchini sticks are the best I've ever tasted.

For a low cost steakhouse, the 14 oz strip steak was superb. Flavorful, tender and cooked just as ordered. The vegetable side was cooked well (not mushy), but the salad was not memorable. Servers was extremely busy, but food came out quickly. Much better choice than nearby Hilltop and Outback. Will definitely return.

In my opinion, all the Jimmy's have gone downhill over the last few years..maybe the result of a sluggish economy. The place was half empty at 5:30 tonight, yet the service was terrible and the food was delivered warm (and some things were cold). Unacceptable on any night, but worse when you do it on a slow night. I won't be going back there. Too many other comparable choices in the area. American Joe's in Peabody is a very good alternative, as is Grassfields on Rt114.

Warning: Elderly alert! It's certainly not a destination I'd consider between 4 and 7PM. That being said, this is a decent enough place. The wait was reasonable and there is warm bread to start My steak, a basic sirloin, was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My baked potato was good and the wine was palatable. The service was eh. It was clear that the waitress had too many tables and our simple two top was not her priority. We had everything we needed, but she was curt and quick to turn away. The prices, however, were outstanding. Steaks and alcohol for two people and the tab was under $50. For that reason alone, I'd consider returning.

This Jimmy 's SUCKS. I have been to the Arlington location, which I will say is a lot better. My friends and I went to the Saugus Jimmy's a couple weeks ago and the service was pathetic. Our waitress was miserable and being a complete douche to everyone at our table. She forgot half the drink order, gave us bread only after we asked 3 or 4 times, and rolled her eyes when one of my friends was asking questions about a specific dish. She gave snappy, one word answers to his questions. I've waitressed before.. for many years...and no, it's not a great job but, if you rely on other people's tips as your paycheck, you should answer questions with a smile, especially about a high priced meal someone might order! Also it's common courtesy and good customer service. I mean, put on a happy face and fake it! We did nothing to piss her off as far as I know but then when our meals came, she dropped plates in front of the wrong people without giving a crap what they ordered..didn't even ask. She said plunked my boyfriend's plate in front of him and said "here!" And the whole table burst out laughing at her because we were in such shock of what terrible service we were receiving. I even watched her show another waitress one of our plates after she had cleared it and say how "gross" it was. Come on.. seriously? Quit your job. Clearly you hate it. I always tip 20% because I understand that waitressing is stressful and hard work, but there was nothing about the service that deserved even a halfway decent tip. The food was also not as good as I remember. I always get the chicken parm and it was greasy and small and usually it's huge and really good! Oh well.. try the Arlington location!

We hadn't been to Jimmy's for a while, and were considering it for a group, so we checked recent reviews. There were enough disgruntled recent reviewers that we decided an in-person check was in order. We were pleased to find all was well, and exactly what we had experienced in the past. We both had a Valentine's special - filet mignon and lobster pie - and it was an incredible value for the $20 price. We have always found their surf and turf combos to be excellent for both quality and value. (Hint - if you ask nice, they will make surf and turf combos that aren't on the menu.) The portions are not huge, but then again, most restaurant portions are just too darn big. I'm a 240 lb guy, and I had plenty to eat with no appetizer and a shared dessert.

My husband and I have been going here for years. I don't know why somedays the food is spot on and others not. They tend to have their off nights it seems and we always get the same thing. It's hard for me to decide how I want my steak cooked, because it comes out different everytime! I recently had one of their specials, the Haddock Imperial (I posted a picture) for $16.00, the portion was miniature. I told my husband I would've had more to eat if I opened a can of tuna. Not sure what happened, but I remember the old Jimmy's (and Nick & Tony's) when you would order fish it would almost sit end to end on your dish. This was such a huge dissapointment. And not to mention, they charged me $18.00 for it, not the listed price @16.00, by mistake.

I had their Memphis steak which sounds good but tastes disgusting. It came out almost raw (I asked for medium rare) and made me lose my appetite. They cooked it for a few more minutes but it still wasn't great. Their bread and calm chowder is pretty good though! That's the only reason I give them 3 stars.

Jimmy's, I still love you the same throughout all these years that we spent together! My dad is in love with this place and that's rare for him to be that pleased. He always gets the same thing. Crabmeat pie and Terriyaki steak.....PERFECT. An abundance of crabmeat covered with breadcrumbs and butter baked in a casserole dish with a lemon on the side to squeeze over it. Steak is soooooo tender and marinated perfectly. Always comes with a salad and another side, priced well....around $18. You can also choose other combinations, sometimes they have lobster pie and sometimes filet mignon as well! Portions are large and I always bring home leftovers! Drinks are always yummy.....this summer, they have been doing "mini margaritas" for $3.99, well....let me tell you, they are pretty normal sized and full of booze! The regular margarita is HUGE, and my mom is the biggest fan of that. :) Awesome martinis and they often have daily, weekly or seasonal drink flavors. Decor in Jimmy's is nice, vintage posters and lots of maroon coloring, very nice but not too busy. I love Jimmy's and I will continue to visit this location and Arlington! GREAT VALUE FOR GREAT FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easily the worst exhibition of cooking I've ever seen, daughters burger was like a hockey puck twice, my steak was burnt twice, even put the worse side down hoping I would not notice, when I say burnt I mean cremated, never again!!

I'm not sure what time the other reviewers got there for dinner, but my party of three was seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and we had our salad/soup/bread on the table in about 10 minutes after placing our order. (We went in around 7 PM for dinner on a weeknight). My niece, who isn't even a fan of fish these days, really enjoyed the clam chowder. Their salads were the typical garden variety. My niece and i ordered the small sirloin steaks and they came out exactly as we asked for them - medium rare and rare. My fiancé ordered the prime rib which had barely any fat and plenty of au jus on the side. My only complaint was that the strawberry shortcake my niece and I shared for dessert was made with frozen strawberries. They had that obvious frozen-then-defrosted texture and taste. Otherwise our food was excellent.

  • Ed T.

The BEST prime rib you will ever have. It is cooked perfectly, incredibly juicy, and usually never even needing any salt or pepper. Then there is the rack of lamb, which is a bit pricey, but worth it. Get it cooked medium-rare and do not be afraid to send it back if isn't cooked just right, because when it is just right, it is excellent. This is a full rack, 7 or 8 ribs, uncut, and seasoned with what seems to be a rock-salt, peppercorn, garlic blend. There is no lambey aftertaste at all. Oh, and for side, get the rice; buttery with a little spinach mixed in. The restaurant itself is very classy looking with an excellent wait-staff, but with a reasonable $15-$20 plate menu.

Jimmy's was always my family's favorite restaurant. The one in Burlington was great. As a kid, it made me try a lot of new foods. They closed that one, though. I went to this one, and was not as impressed...but it is still great food, nonetheless. I can't say much else as I haven't been in some time.

Jimmy's is a great place to get your eat on. Their website states they've been around for 30 years. The Saugus location has been open for maybe ten. I just tried it for the first time a few years ago. The food is great. Very consistent, the steak is very good, the baked scrod is so light it will float off your plate. The stuffed shrimp is fantastic. The prices are ok, the portions are good size. Service is always good. This place gets very busy and can be loud. There is a bit of an older crowd if you get there early. On weekends there's easily an hour wait for a table. There is a good size bar with some tables. Get your self a drink and relax. The wait is worth it. There is a large parking lot but it's shared with other businesses so you might have to drive around once or twice. Don't go here for dinner if your in a hurry. But you won't regret the time you spent there.

Been to the Arlington location several times for dinner and have not left disappointed. Lunch at the Saugus location was a bit different. I had the panko crusted chicken with herbed rice pilaf and a side salad. It was a good portion for the price and the food was tasty enough, but not much above what one would find at a 99 restaurant at a comparable price. My friend had the marinated steak tips and baked potato. He mentioned could barely taste the marinate, and he tends to like his food fairly bland. I will definitely visit Jimmy's again, and if fairly bland food it's your thing then you won't be disappointed. They also never give you enough butter for the bread, which was served warm but tasted rather dry. I did have coffee and we shared the ghirardelli brownie with ice cream for desert. I give those a higher rating than the food itself. The coffee was strong but not overpowering. The Brownie was rich and delicious and perfectly matched with good quality ice cream and whipped cream. it was also the right portion to share for 2 and not a chocolatey mess of a mountain that you tend to get at other places. I'm a fan of Jimmy's, just not lunch or at least this particular dish. Service was fine! no problems this time.

I Haven't been to a Jimmy's in almost 10 years and still was very satisfied!! The bread is amazing. I got the stuffed shrimp it was really good. My mom got lobster pie, while there wasn't any larger chunks it still tasted really good and the price $18.99 is amazing! My dad got the club steak and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The only thing that was a little below was the lettuce in the salad was a little wimpy looking but for the price most places don't even come with a salad so it wasn't a big deal. Our waitress was friendly as well so we will definitely be back!

AWESOME. SIMPLY AWESOME. I come here all the time. The service can def be a hit or miss but the food is just utter goodness. The portions are large and more than reasonably priced especially when you go there for dinner. Sometimes it can be packed on weekends and nights so try to get there before 630ish to be seated reasonably quickly. Try this: Rolls Baked stuffed mushrooms - starter Prime rib & baked stuffed shrimp with a baked potato and sour cream Salad with creamy italian dressing Guess what, you can get all of the above for about $21. Good sized portions with a slight chance of leftovers. DELICIOUS! Btw, they indeed have takeout.

Jimmy's is a decent steakhouse. Pros: quick service, cheaper (entrees under $15) and really yummy buttered breadcrumbs on the stuffed fish and seafood pie, excellent grilling of meats- if you ask for medium, it will be medium. Love the fried zucchini and fried calamari. Cons: menu could be updated to include a little more variety.

I came here with my husband on a night without my son to have a "date" Waitress was nice. We got the food and my husband got the ny sirloin medium and he got the steak RARE. He sent it back. Most reputable places know you can't stick a cut open filet back in the oven, but they did and we then got it over cooked. The cook was pissed. he gave us a new steak but it was so over seasoned it was horrific. I got the prime rib with baked shrimp. Rib was all fat and the food was horrible. They wanted to give me a gift certificate like I would come back. YEAH RIGHT. Typically, I don't mind paying for my meal but they should have comp'd the whole meal which they didn't. For these prices go to the Outback. It's MUCH better.

Hahah Old people definitely LOVE it here, and will wait hours+ just to get a booth. with that said - I always enjoy the food here, and after having seen how clean the Jimmys/Grassfields/Nick and Tony restaurant chain keeps their kitchen I will always be a fan.

  • Paul F.

I give it five starts because the steak teriyaki is soooo amazing good. It just melts in my mouth and the flavor is so good, I wish it was a 20oz steak. I can never seem to order anything else here for I crave that steak. Jimmy's anyday over Hilltop or Outback etc. It comes with a baked potato and a small cup of chowder. So good, give it a try.

    (5)
  • Busy L.

This was always a safe bet place. I believe it's is under the same ownership as Grassfield's evidence by the very good rice pilaf with spinach in it. A better choice than the usual chain restaurants most of the time. Last visit was disappointing. The usual entrees of baked scallops, prime rib, crab pie was good. My son wanted fried seafood and they had a fried shrimp and haddock special. Huge mistake!!! Both the shrimp and fish was not fresh. Shrimp tasted like shrimp from their shrimp cocktail and fish was defiinitely old. In addition, they fried it in old oil and batter was dark in texture. Fish was actually gray inside.

This was our (me and my husband's) first time eating out in a couple of months. We were really feeling a steak house and we saw nice things about this restaurant on Yelp. We went at 6:30pm on a Saturday and were seated within 5 minutes. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a Raspberry Margarita. Then we both got the Kansas Great Prime Rib with a loaded baked potato. The meals came with a house salad and bread and butter, although honestly I'm not a fan of bread or salad so i don't have much of an opinion on either of those. The prime rib was excellent. It came with au Jus, and it was cooked just how I wanted it (medium rare). You know prime rib is done right when it melts in your mouth. The loaded baked potato could have used more cheese but was otherwise very good. The only reason this restaurant did not get five stars is because the waitress treated my husband like he was cheap. She thought it was cheap to order a beer, and then assumed he would want water when he finished the beer. Then she set down the water really hard on the table without a word, and when the check came she set it practically on his elbow. She was really nice until the end of dinner, so I am hoping it was just miscommunication and she wasn't actually trying to be rude. Otherwise it was a great date night!

Large family restaurant with decent portions and decent prices. It won't blow your socks off but it isn't bad either. We asked for our chowder to come out extra hot, but it must have been opposite day since they came out extra cold. But our waitress took care of it. Steak tips were tender and juicy, as were the scallops. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious. All entrees come with soup or salad and choice of side. Good value I think.

Best value for 12 oz. sirloin. Tastes like a filet. Never any grizzle or fat. Dinners come with a salad too which is rare these days.

My boyfriend love loves this place! I am such a picky eater and I think they might have two chicken dishes and all I eat is chicken so its not one of my favorites! I can't stand how they don't have mashed potatoes as a side dish and if I want to substitute a caesar salad for a side salad they charge me for a regular caesar. The rice pilaf is yummy and so is the carmel apple martini, not a bad place, just wish their menu had more options!

Had the New York sirloin medium well and it was good overall, although I couldn't help but feel like it could've been better, prices and portions are mediocre, stop by if you're in the area, but not worth traveling for, the place is pretty comparable to the 99 chain restaurants, wait staff also pretty much sucks, the waitress seated us and told us she was leaving yet we kept seeing her, she also forgot my bread, the random waitress that was later assigned to us just took our order and that was the end of her until we asked for the check...

So my boyfriend and I go to Jimmys for d inner and drinks the other nite. We have been there so many time in the past Always had good service , always had a good dinner there. Well this last time not so good. Our waitress was a total douche bag. She was clueless. A real spaceshot. So we each had a drink and ordered dinner . Our drinks were half way done . So we ordered two more drinks. I guess Saugus has a rule about not having more then two drinks on the table. OK she takes our drinks from us that we did not finish. At $8.00 dollars a drink that was not cool. Then dinner comes it was OK. Then she gives us our check. Does not offer coffee or dessert. We like our coffee and dessert when we go out. Very strange she was. Then she manager comes over we explained things to her. got no place with her. Will never ever ever go back there again. I don't know maybe because it was A fri nite and it was around 8:00 and the waitress had a date or something. Totally ruined our evening. Maybe if she reads this review she will not it is about her. My boyfriend is a great tipper for the first time evere since I have been with him he did not tip this waitress. She was that bad. Nevere will go back . Total spaceshot.

Don't sit at a bar table if you want service. No waitresses for the bar area, and the barmaids are too busy to walk over to the tables to take your order. So when the bar cleared out, we "bellied up" cuz we were hungry and wanted to eat. Service was still pretty slow, kabitzing barmaids with the wait staff everytime someone needed a drink in the dining room. The special was fish and chips. Now I know you shouldn't order seafood in a steak house, but I've had the seafood here and been pleased. Two words for that special.....STAY AWAY! It was a special that night, so you'd think they'd know how to fry a piece of fish, but no they didn't. It was grease saturated and cooked to desication. This was the second time we were disappointed with the service. We won't be back.

Excellent steak, salads and even the bread. Great prices and prompt service - a rare combo near or in Boston.

This place is A OK. meaning I would always go back. If you walk into a place and see many retired patrons it is probably a good deal. For what you get it is a good deal. The rice pilaf is a good alternative to fries and the surf and turf entrees are good. They have a large bar area to wait as it does get crowded on weekends and buzzers to get your attention. They serve warm bread while you wait and many entrees come with a salad. The Parmesan peppercorn dressing is good. Some of the waitresses are very fast and knowledgeable. For the next level and twice the price, try the Hardcover.

Looking for a big piece of meat? Sorry ladies, I'm talking steak not Chippendales. I've actually never been here up until now, and ordered a medium rare 9oz New York Sirloin, side salad, and veggies and it was enough to tame my MASSIVE hangover and render me lazy and useless for the remainder of the day. We term this as glorymess. We sat at the bar, as usj (this is pronounced you-je), and I ordered my stoil vanilla and coke with a lime (a+). Slightly strong, wonderfully delicious. That's right, what do they say about getting back on the horse? Sorry Maury, I'm not a gymnast. The bartender did not card me, which I found unusual. On the tv's was one of the bizarre strong man competitions, which I suppose was fairly appropriate...more 'roid/meat heads. We ate our salads while we watched these GIANT dudes walk through a pool carrying kegs above their heads. When they were done transporting each keg to the other side of the pool, they all returned back to the platform from which they were placed upon and I wondered if they had to carry this "dais" as well. They didn't. Quickly the tv was placed on basketball, I would've preferred to watch a good eating competition or maybe some sort of lumberjack exhibition. Those are really the only two things I find worth watching on ESPN. In any case, the bartender was fairly useless. She asked if we wanted drinks, then didn't provide menus so we proceeded to sit until she came back to see if we wanted refills. At some point, another bartender became our server and was far more attentive but I got the feeling like I was being rushed out, so I proceeded to order more beverage. The steak was ok, I'm a bit more of a strip steak or ribeye fan, but it was cooked more on the medium side, rather than what I has ordered. Get me as rare as you can get, without worrying about madcow or other bovine related illness. The southwestern eggrolls we ordered as an appetizer were fairly tasty, but there was little imagination to this menu. Maybe it's my eccentric side talking, but maybe some of these slabs of meat could use some sort of gorgonzola butter, seasoning, or just ANYTHING to compliment them. Summation: I felt bored with the menu and staff.

This place gives me an old person vibe. I can't quite put my finger on why. A lot of old farts do eat there. Maybe that's why. They have a typical steakhouse menu with VERY reasonable prices. (Hence the old people.) I've been there with my wife about 15 times and have NEVER had bad service, bad food, or an empty glass. (I hate empty glasses. It drives me insane.) Everything on the menu is great. I'm especially fond of fried zucchini and crab meat pie. NEVER go to the overrated steak house across the street no matter how enticing you find the plastic cows.

One of the tastieast steaks I've had in a restaurant, great bread too! The prices are decent, I got a surf and turf for $15. Service is only ok, but the steak alone is worht the trip!

Was back on Friday, August 21st. Sat at the bar this time, since I wanted to watch the Red Sox game. Bartenders were excellent! Ordered the Cowboy Ribeye, because I hadn't eaten all day and it looked good. Also had the sweet potato fries and split a caesar salad with my sister. To drink, a Sam Adams Summer Ale. It was perfection! The appetizer was again, fried zucchini sticks. Very good once again!! Over all...glad I went back. Will return when I am back in the Boston area.

LOVE their terriyaki steak tip/lobster pie combo. It's such a good deal (and you will be STUFFED). The meal also comes with a side... I always go for their rice pilaf. Throw in the salad and your own little loaf of bread for the table to share and you will have to unwedge yourself from the table. They're open for lunch now too. You get basically the same portions at VERY reasonable lunch time prices.

Came here on a gift card given to me. It may be a while but, I would come back. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because the service is quite slow. We also came in a Sunday evening. I would imagine it might be slower on a busy evening.no complaints about the food at all. Very good!

Recently had dinner at Jimmy's and we ordered the NY Sirloins. Overall the service was very good for Saturday evening, Sirloins were cooked to perfection however did lack any noticeable seasoning. I had to ask for A-1 sauce and I would highly recommend.

Pros: Seated quickly (there were 2 of us on a busy Sat. Evening), Nice Waiter, quick service. Cons: Small serving of "seasonal vegetables" with steak tip entree. COMPLETELY FORGOT THE SALADS. I ordered a Sprite was brought a water, I was able to eventually ask "for another Sprite" and from then on our waiter was solicitous in bringing in refills. Entrees were a bit pricey for the quantity and quality of food. In summation: Wouldn't dissuade someone from dining here, but we won't be going back by choice.

AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE! Came here for a quick lunch this past Saturday afternoon at about 1. We opted to sit at the high-tops because we usually prefer to sit at/or around the bar area. Service was BEYOND slow. Took quite a while for the bartender to even come over and greet us and take our drink order. We ordered our meals right with our drinks because we were starving. Our food took OVER 30 minutes to come out. We tried to get the bartender's attention as she was cleaning the other high top table near us, she did not even acknowledge us from the time she brought our drinks over or come over to check on us while we waited that long. Not even to see if we needed refills. She was basically AVOIDING us. FYI - a soda water with a SPLASH of cranberry is not the same as a "cranberry sparkler" as she called it. When we finally got her attention and asked if our food was coming after over a half an hour wait for our food, she replies with "uhhhh yeah it should be out any minute now". Ummm ok? Why don't you go check instead of questioning yourself! It was 4 of us and we all ordered either Medium or Medium Rare for our steak temperatures. Our steak tips/steak came out luke warm and cooked Medium Well to Well Done. Anyone who eats Medium Rare or Medium knows this is borderline inedible! We couldn't even let the bartender know it was all cooked wrong because she never even came over to check how everything was until we were 75% of the way through eating our side orders because the steak was so awful. No manager ever came over to even try to save this problem. Dear Saugus location, you have lost 4 customers. I love Jimmy's Steer House.. but this place has gone downhill in service. I don't know if it is just the bar area that lacks service, but I think I will be going to the Arlington location from now on.

How do you have a great Black Friday? Skip the mall and grab some lunch with the kiddos and Nana. Now I love my mother but Irish women aren't particularly known for their culinary prowess. I was the kid who went to college and said, "gosh, this food is awesome". So, while I had plenty of love and never wanted for anything, I would not ask mom for advice on where to eat. If we could have afforded it growing up, we would have been at the Hilltop 7 days a week (Numbah 56 Pahty ah 5 fah Sioux City) but that's another review. Go to my Yelp standby... not a lot of time... if I go to Prince, I might take a hostage... Let's try this Jimmy's place. It's also on the site of the old Augustine's where Gus Luongo allegedly washed money for the mob. Having risen in the ranks from buffet swill boy to head bus boy there during high school, I've got a sentimental place for the old place. So we started out with their big hunk o' bread. OK for white bread, nothing to jump about but my kids were thrilled. I went with a Brooklyn larger and the California Chicken Sandwich. Not sure the guy who invented this has ever been to Cali. It has chicken and avocado but that doesn't entitle you to use the moniker. Trust me, I get pissed when they call that bowl of fish soup New England Clam Chowder. That being said, the sandwich was OK. It had a bit of vinaigrette to it that somewhat overtook the avocado. I would skip that, add some fresh salsa and that would have made the dish. Kids loved their sandwiches, and Nana? Let's just say, she likes Applebees so it was 5 star for her... Great service from Cassandra and I would go back again.

I was surprised to find Jimmy's only had 3.5 stars! This place is under-rated / a real hidden gem. As good as the sister location in Arlingtion, the food here is consistent and never disappoints. The chicken teriyaki is ah-mazing, the rice pilaf is the reason you go, the broiled scallops melt in your mouth, I could go on... They recently revamped and expanded upon their tap list as well and now carry a wide variety of craft beers. Really delicious food, in a laid back but not too casual atmosphere, and for really great prices for what you get. They have a function room or two as well for large groups. I usually grab a table on the bar side myself for a casual meal on a Friday night with the game on.

I've been to the Jimmy's in Burlington and loved their rice pilaf. But since they've been closed for a while, I'm sure you realize it has been years... We were looking for a spot for dinner, so the two of us headed over to Jimmy's in Saugus - yes, my dc is a meat eater. At about 7:30pm on a Sunday evening, there was no wait for a table. The two of us weren't starving, so we decided to share two starters and an entree: . Hand Cut Zucchini Sticks peppercorn dressing $5.49 . Coconut Crusted Shrimp gulf shrimp rolled in fresh coconut and seasoned bread crumbs $7.99 . Crabmeat Pie & New York Sirloin $16.99 Some nice warm bread was brought to the table on a bread board along with the appetizers and the salad - a simple, fresh enough version consisting of lettuce, purple cabbage, cucumber, tomato, and shredded carrots. The Shrimp turned out to be four huge specimens, crispy coconutty on the outside, moist on the inside, and really good with the orange marmalade based dipping sauce. We l-o-v-e, loved the shrimp! The zucchini sticks were decent sized logs, nicely breaded and soft on the inside, and served in a manner that reminded me of the game Pick-up Sticks. We had but made a dent in our first course when the entree arrived. The thick steak arrived medium as ordered. The crab arrived in chunks under buttered crumbs. The rice pilaf arrived spinach laden as expected, but sadly it wasn't quite up to par of my memory of it... Service was pleasant. Hooks were available by the booths for our jackets. Parking in the lot shared with IHOP was easy the night we went. Next time I visit, it will be with a hankering for the coconut shrimp rather than for their signature rice pilaf...

Overall- I like Jimmy's Steer House. I go there during the hours of 11am - 1pm so the place is usually not as busy as it would be later on in the day. Ever since I first visited the restaurant, I've had nothing but fantastic service from the hostess and the bartenders. They are very pleasant people and the interior is kept clean and immaculate. The price-range is good, not to pricey for the quality of the food. I mean if the food wasn't good, then I "may" have an issue paying what they're asking but the food is good. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of one bad experience. I took my girlfriend there on Valentines Day and had a pretty bad experience. Granted, it was probably one of their busiest days of the year but that doesn't excuse them for poor cooking and service. I raved to my girlfriend about Jimmy's for months before I took her there and she was disappointed. The steak was TERRIBLY UNDER-COOKED and the rice and fries were cold. This one bad experience normally wouldn't deter me from giving it five stars.. but it was pretty bad. Overall, I recommend Jimmy's to people looking for good food at good prices in an ambient surrounding. You'll love it like I do. I frequent it.

always very good, and most times great! no matter what you order i'm sure you will like it, a salad is included with the meal. the avalanche for desert is the best! a nice clean place, reasonably priced with a great wait staff!

Before my parents visit we scope out steakhouses in the area. Since I'd never been to a Jimmy's before the wife suggested we go. Many of the dining experiences on RT1 have left me flat. However I was pleasantly surprised at Jimmy's for lunch. The prices were lower and the meal was smaller, perfect for lunch. MY steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The mushrooms and onions smothering it were good, though the onions could have used a bit more time in the pan. The veggies served with it were pretty good, but the broccoli was slightly over cooked. The wife's prime rib was tasty. We ordered the calamari which were battered in a weird batter that tasted like the same stuff used on mozzarella sticks, ie, weirdly seasoned with Italian seasoning. They were weird but were cooked perfectly. The waitress brought me a diet Pepsi when I got down to the ice in my first. Just 'cause I'm fat doesn't mean I want to drink that crap, it tastes like I'm drinking a cup full of bitters. YUCK! She was attentive and friendly. Anyway, we have a new place that is safe to take my father when he visits- not too pricey, decent food, and a short drive away. I just won't suggest the calamari.

My parents suggested I go here for my birthday. I ordered the honey glazed salmon...and it was amazing! It was moist and flavorful. My family ordered everything including steak, burgers and scallops...it was all delicious and fresh. The clam chowder was amazing as well.

DO NOT USE the function hall at this place. Had a rehearsal dinner a few months ago here and could not have been more displeased with the service and lack of professionalism. The manager did not handle a miscommunication well and embarrassed me as well as interrupted me on a day where I was suppose enjoy the time with my close family and friends. The service was terribly slow and disorganized. Very disappointed as I was a loyal customer --I will never recommend this place to anyone I know unless they want to experience what I did.

One of my favorite dishes is eggplant parmigiana. On 9/19/14 mine was so thickly sliced that it didn't cook. The thickness of the slice was about 1/2 inch! The waitress was very nice and she brought it back to the kitchen to be put back in the oven but due to the thickness it didn't help. Advice to the chef: eggplant should be sliced thin to taste good. Lately I've been disappointed of the salmon also, which it was too dry.

My wife and I have been back to Jimmy's more recently, and they've improved significantly. I think they adjusted their menu & prices (some time in the last year and a half!), putting it in line with what I think the meal/experience is worth. I'm now a fan, and prefer them over other chain-restaurants in the area.

Like I have mentioned in my previous post, I have been coming here for YEARS! I went again with the boyfriend and I was not happy. I ordered the prime rib and stuffed shrimp like I normally do. The prime rib had more fat on it than meat AND it was cut wicked thin! Check out picture to see for yourself. Hopefully this is a one time deal and next time it will be fine.

No doubt Jimmy's is a value as far as steakhouses go, you can get a steak tip dinner for under $20. The teriyaki tips are definitely my favorite. There is a running joke that Jimmy's location in Arlington draws a big crowd from the retirement community. The same could be said for this location, by 9PM the place was clearing out, with the exception of the bar. Overall the quality of the food is good, but I have better steaks before. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for an affordable night out.

I feel this restaurant has gone downhill over the years. There seems to be newer management and they are not service-oriented. We had a bad episode one night when on a Sunday night, an hour before they closed, we sat down and the bartender immediately informed us what time they were closing. No hello or good evening...we then asked if we had time to order food. She again iterated their closing time..1 HOUR BEFORE THEY WERE closing. She quickly served us drinks and then busied herself about the bar, looking at her watch all the while. She was telling other staff to hurry up and do whatever is they do, because she "had to close on time." With so much preoccupation with closing, she clearly wasn't interested in us. We paid our tab and went down to Polcaris. I DID call a manager the next day. Explained everything. She was apologetic and offered to send me some kind of a coupon. I told her it wasn't necessary, I was more angry at practically being chased out. She insisted on the coupon so I gave her my address. That never arrived, either. Tried to go back another night, a year later, but checked to make sure the same bartender wasn't there. She wasn't, but when I sat down, everything I asked the bartender about, I was told "they don't have that anymore." We finally got plain Margaritas and they were very weak. I like a lot of Jimmy's food, never got served any m eat that was over/under cooked or food that I felt didn't taste good. Always had wonderful waiters in the dining room. Given their higher prices, and the incidents in the bar, I am sad to say I am done with Jimmy's.

    I. love. this. place. No, this is not your Capital Grille or $60 steak kind of place. But, on the same token, this place is family oriented, friendly to your pockets, and offers a good variety for the hungry meat-eater. There's always a piping warm-hot loaf of bread before your dinner. This will never disappoint! I don't know what else there is to say. If only I could play a Youtube video of what I have envisioned in my mind; you'd understand. I have never left here without a doggy bag. Food is always great and plentiful! It's Boston-esque. And, Jimmy's to me will always feel like home.

So umm, how's that mediocrity working out for you Jimmy? I checked this place out on a slow night, having driven by it a million times. This time a bout of indecisiveness overcame me and my friends and we said "let's do it." Cocktails: tasty, but take forever. Informed their keg of Allagash was tapped out and they didn't have any more. Food: They were out of a handful of things, one of which was the larger steak option (well offer two smaller steak pieces at the same price...duh). I ordered the ribs which weren't bad. The meat didn't exactly fall off the bone, but they weren't tough either. Everyone else at the table wasn't as pleased and agreed my ribs were better than anything they got. The rice pilaf was actually pretty tasty though. Service: The waitress was sweet and prompt. All and all, I don't think I'd bother returning. There's just nothing special about Jimmy's that would compel me to do so.

I've been coming here for years. It has always been my favorite restaurant. I get the chicken teriyaki every time, and it is melt-in-your-mouth goodness. My mouth is watering just thinking about it (is it lunch time yet?). The warm bread & butter plus the salad before dinner will make you full enough to have leftovers. Prices are very reasonable. They've crept up over the last decade, but hey that's inflation for you. The menu shrunk to a one page laminated thing when it used to be pretty big. The salads did get smaller, though. They used to be served on a plate, now they are in a small bowl. Hey, I'm not complaining, the food still tastes like heaven. I will continue to frequent here when I want a good steak and yummy chicken.

This is always a good place to resort to. Our group of friends and as a couple, we always go here to get "American" food/steak. The food here is good, and service is always up there. I really can't complain about this place. We've also hosted birthday group dinners here before. They have a function room that's pretty good for a large group, and it offers a little more privacy. Rack of lamb, Rib eye, and steak tips here are always really good.

I love Jimmies. I usually head to the location in Arlington but this is closer to me. Food is just as good and service is nice also. I like the bar at this location, lots of room. Terriyaki steak and the baked stuffed shrimp combo are out of this world. Minus one star for the loaves of bread instead of the rolls at the Arlington location.

I really don't venture into Saugus much but this time a friend dragged me to Jimmy's and told me that I must try their food. We went on a Saturday night and the line was out the door. Our wait was about an hour but I think it was much quicker than that. They had a full sit in bar with several television for the boys to not miss the weekend games. After all that time of waiting we both were starving. Their menu looked very simple...which I liked. I think a restaurant with too many options can make their customers a little confused on what their specials are. My friend told me that I must try their surf and turf. So we both decided to get the steak teriyaki tips and lobster pie. I would have never gotten the lobster pie if my friend hasn't put his word and his own stamp approval on it. I have eaten my far share of seafood pies and most of the time they are filled with allot of breading that most of the time you don;t know whats is what. BUT this was NOT the case at Jimmys. THe pie was filled with large amounts of real lobster. It was soooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!! The tips were cooked to my perfection (med-rarE). Each piece was very flavorful and tender. Each entree came with a choice of soup/salad and a side. Hot bread and rolls was unlimited. Whipped butter was awesome as well. Plenty of food for everyone and I can't wait to go back!!! Drooling~

Went here with 12 others last week and everyone enjoyed. We had prime rib, sirloin tips, crab pie, lobster pie and chicken. Everyone really enjoyed what they had. The clam chowder was good and had good amount of clams. Very good menu and really liked the lobster pie and prime rib combo. They know how to cook prime rib and steak and it comes as you ordered it! Recommend trying Jimmy's.

Update from my 1st review - came back with a few friends. Total turnaround to AWFUL - this is our LAST time dining even though we're on their VIP list. Waiter, Mike, was horrible. Definitely a slacker - missing for minutes on each round - never comes around to check or refill drinks. Asked my friend how his rib was when my friend ordered the PRIME RIB - HELLO... Ordered: - Marinated Steak Tip Combo - ordered rare - came out well. - Prime Rib - bland. - Marinated Steak - ordered medium rare - came out well and burnt.

Steak tips, fantastic and cooked as ordered, apps wings, soup, both tasty. Staff polite prompt, and attentive. Great value and would return. My date had Salmon, and reported it tasty and cooked correctly (not over cooked which is common) I had steak tips and scallops which are a favorite of mine, both cooked correctly and very tasty. Seasonal veggies and spinach rice both excellent choices. I wanted to order dessert but meal was worth every bite filling my belly. 2 satisfied customers

Steer clear of Jimmy's Steer House. I was very disappointed. I ordered the prime rib and it had too much fat and inedible parts. For the 10 oz prime rib, about 6.5 oz were edible and the remaining 3.5 oz were inedible. I do not think they have a good beer selection either. The quality of steak was standard, but I do not think you get your money's worth. Even with the bread, rice, small cup of chowder, and beer with a total bill of 24.50 including tax, I still do not think you get your money's worth. The only really good thing I can say about this place is the selection. They do have a lobster roll special going until the end of the month. I do not know if their lobster rolls are any good, but I guess it is something to consider. Good service, but not so good product. I am still on the fence about whether I want to go back and try a different type of steak. I will weigh other options in the meantime.

The value for what you get at his restaurant is incredible. I had broiled scrod with vegetables and a salad for my meal. People in my party had food allergies that were accommodated. My friend got the teriyaki steak and crabmeat pie and he said it was delicious! The chicken Parmesan is awesome too. Been to the Arlington location, which is the original and just as good! There is a large bar area with a full liquor bar and a good selection of beers on tap.

Disappointing! I had heard good things about this place and decided to check it out today. Server was very nice but inexperienced. The food was just ok. I ordered 16 oz prime rib which was cooked the way I ordered but was tough and was really a 12 oz with 4 oz of fat. Seafood stuffed mushrooms were fresh from the microwave and came in a disgusting creamy sauce. My wife had a lobster roll served in a hot dog bun. We ordered 2 skinny margaritas without ice but both came loaded with ice. Clam chowder was cold. Lastly the check came with a note suggesting a 20% tip and a helpful calculation of what that would be for my check. How rude is that!

My friends and I enjoyed our meal at Jimmy's recently, prime rib, steak tips and lobster pie, and a sirloin strip. We were surprised at the wonderful clam chowder which came with the meal, full of sweet tender clams. All the beef came cooked just as requested, and the sides were good, except the baked potato seemed kind of steamed, no one seems to get those right. The service was excellent, though the hostess at the front of the house was rude, and I don't think she even knew how to smile. I thought the beer and wine selections were adequate, and none of us had room to try dessert. All in all I think it's a great value for good food.

The menu houses a wide variety of comfort foods, from salads to meats to seafood and more. If you're trying to appease a party with varied tastes and preferences, even finicky eaters, you'll find their variety should nicely hit on all points. The actual taste of the food is eh, probably 3-stars, but it's on par with a solid, family style restaurant. And prices are surprisingly, exceptionally reasonable. I hosted a 20+ group, only gave them 1 day's notice, and they pulled it off with ease. The servers were really great (never let a beverage glass go empty), food was all timed extremely well - an exceptional feat when my party all ordered off-the-menu - and everything went swimmingly. As much as I dine out, I have to give huge kudos to a friendly & efficient staff, patient with my large group and they also seated us in the more private backroom (I didn't even request it). 5 stars to the service! If you want to host a big group, have a solid and non-controversial menu, make it very affordable and experience great service along the way, this place is a great choice.

Stumbled on this place in a small plaza near ihop...told my boyfreind let's give it a try. Littlee bit of a wait. But our waitress was freindly..can't remember her name( cute pink highlights tho)..food was fresh. Bread was hott and came out on a cutting board. We had stuffed seafood mushrooms. As an appetizer and crab cakes. Then split these giant margheritas...suprise the drinks were 9$ a piece. 65$ bucks for very tasty brilliant quality food. With great service. WELL BE back!!!

This place isn't all that it's hyped up to be. Our appetizers were bland & our dinners were so salty it was ridiculous. I'd need to belt down a gallon of water to combat the huge amounts of salt on the food.

Outstanding lunch today. My wife and I both had the Prime Rib, Rice and Clam Chowder. It was highly recommended by our bartender/waitress and she was 200% correct. Thank you Michelle for taking great care of us on our 40th wedding anniversary.

Had a great meal, in a pleasant atmosphere, and did not have to take a loan to pay for it. The staff was very cordial as well as attentive and accomodating. Our party of nine will be returning to this eatery frequently in the future. In my sixty-five years of dinning out around the world, I never have seen a server get applause from the dinners. Michelle was awesome. Bon appitite.

Great service I eat here often. The bread alone is worth a visit. My favs are the haddock special the fish n chips and the broiled scrod and the broiled scallops are delicious. The prime rib is OK but expect a few ounces of fat. The lobster pie is OK mostly claw meat tho. The new York sirloin is good although the pepper rub may be over powering at times just ask for it plain and add your own pepper. Side salads are reasonably sized and priced as well as the apps. For sides I'd recommend the baked potato or rice both are great. You really cant beat the price for meal that you get. Recommended service hours are noon till 330 for lunch dinner prices are a few dollars more. For my tastes it reminds me of what the hilltop used to be like before it went corporate at least quality wise. I've been coming to Jimmy's and its sister establishments Grassfields for over 30 years and it has seldom waivered in quality or service.

We used to go to Jimmys on a regular basis, if you were not there early you would have to wait. We haven't gone for awhile and decided to go last night and it and there was no wait to get in, tables were not even close to full and the food, well, it was nothing to write home about. My husband had prime rib and lobster pie, the meat was not tender at all, and a bit tough. I had prime rib and baked stuffed shrimp, my meat was also tough and the shrimp were a both over cooked (stuffing was black). We don't know what happened, but we will not be going back any time soon. The one positive think I can say is the waitress was excellent.

4 stars for the food, the potato was a bit dry but still good after doctoring it up! my sirloin steak was delicious, cooked perfectly and for $19 its an incredible value. It lost a star due to service. the younger blond bartender was short with us, didnt say please or thank you... little stuff like that bothers me. the other bartenders were nice. I do wish however that our steaks had come out a little later, we were barely halfway through our salads when they arrived. keeping a better gauge on your guests pace of dining, and overall manners would take them a long way.

How does a "steakhouse" run out of steak? The 4 of us all had our minds set on getting Jimmy's famously wonderful strip steak...mind you this is 6:00 pm on a Sunday night....1st thing waitress says... Sorry folks we're all outa strip streak, and after I expressed my unhappiness, she sarcastically blurts out IM SORRY! Anyways food is always great here, but this night was a disappointment...it's like going to a pizza place and they tell you they ran out of pizza!

Food and Service is okay for the money. Meals come out fresh, hot and decent tasting, nothing too extravagant though. Service was friendly and timely, and the portions are big enough to fill you. My only complaint with this place is the smell in the dining room, which kinda through me off when eating. Not sure if it's the carpet or the fact that it caters to a much older crowd, but something needs to be done about that which is reminiscent of a dirty hamper - "Jimmy's Rear House"

Took my sister to Jimmy's Steer House in Saugus MA recently for her birthday. We like the atmosphere here and the fact that it's a notch above casual without being stuffy or uncomfortable. It was a late Saturday afternoon and we didn't wait long at all. In fact, it wasn't as busy as I've seen it in the past. We were seated quickly, our waitress told us about the specials, took our drink order and left us to peruse the menu. Shortly thereafter she returned with our drinks and a little loaf of bread with a "tub" of whipped butter, it was warm and tasty but nothing exceptional. I must say, the zucchini stick appetizer was delicious, light and crispy but, the peppercorn dressing for dipping was just salad dressing. However, that being said I would definitely order the zucchini again as they're really good on their own. As for our entrée, my sister ordered the chargrilled fillet Mignon with bordelaise sauce-medium rare, I chose the Kansas City prime rib and both were cooked perfectly. The meat was very tender and flavorful and the portions were generous. The side salad was fresh, the mashed potatoes I ordered were ( to me) a bit over salted but not unbearable. My sister had a baked potato which was also cooked correctly, no hard/raw center nor was it dried out. By the time we finished our food we were simply too full for dessert Overall, our meal was quite good and very satisfying. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive but didn't hover or constantly ask if everything was ok. I'd recommend Jimmy's to anyone wanting a good steak or fillet, it's well worth it.

Great night . Was told it was a 20 min wait and we only waited 10 minutes. The food was great I had the filet with a baked potato. The filet was cooked perfectly. Ordered a bottle of wine and the only thing that disappointed us that the waitress didn't present us the wine. It was already opened and she just poured it. Not a big deal but other than that we will be back!

This evening was my first experience ever in a Jimmy's Steer House restaurant, and it was a disappointing one at that. On my day off from working in a restaurant, myself, I was disappointed to come to another food establishment with such rude and inattentive staff members. The service was below standards, with blatant impatience and attitude coming from those who were serving us. The food wasn't entirely terrible, though my chicken sandwich was quite bland and soggy. Even the bathrooms were unkempt, with some stalls completely lacking in toilet paper, even though a staff member had just existed the restroom. Given the quality of the food, I would've given a better review if it weren't for the disorganization and lack of hospitality from the staff.

Good Food at Reasonable Prices We reviewed Jimmy's in Arlington a few weeks ago, and wanted to try this one. I believe the ownership as well as the names are the same, but the menus are quite different. I had a Patron Margarita... excellent! We shared the "large" order of calamari which was very good, but a little skimpy in portion. My wife had the shrimp and steak tips combo, and liked them. I had the Jimmy burger, but should have known better than to order a meal on a bun (Monterey jack cheese, applewood bacon, sautéed mushrooms & caramelized onions). It was good, but my regret when I do a specialty hamburger, is that the taste of the hamburger disappears in all the other "stuff". The fries were a little different, and quite good. One big problem... I noticed that away from the windows (we were there in late afternoon) the place is too dark. In fact, I walked through one of the back room dining rooms and wondered how these people were reading their menus. We will return.

Food never disappoints. If you're looking for some good meat, definitely come here. Just be mindful that they get super packed on the weekends. Also they say they do take reservations on yelp BUT they only take reservations for parties of 8 or more, EXCEPT on the weekends.

I have fun at this establishment, which is why I go back. If you are looking for a quieter location, where one can enjoy great food and alcohol, then this is it! The do have a bar area, but I came to dine...lol... I love going out and having a great time at a loud restaurant as much as the next person. But on those rare occasions, where I just want to relax and enjoy quiet conversation where I can actually hear the other person speaking, Jimmy's is it for me! The prime rib is highly recommended, and they have an extensive wine selection that is guaranteed to please. The staff is very attentive, and yet knows when to leave you to enjoy the meal. The staff is also great at recommending a wine, should you require it, and I have yet to complain about their suggestions. Great food, quieter atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff...what more could one ask for?

Definitely did not live up to other reviews. My steak was burnt on the outside (but center was properly cooked medium-rare). Meat was flavorless. I had to ask for A1 to make it palatable (which I NEVER do elsewhere unless the steak is horrible). Server was nice, but a bit air headed. Service was on the slow side. I've had much better steaks and service at TGIFridays. I will not return.

My boyfriend and I come here all the time. And by all the time, I mean we love it so much it never fails to end up being our Saturday night date night spot. The service and food are always consistent and the prices aren't bad either. Is it an exciting atmosphere - no. But if you want a satisfying steak dinner that won't break the bank, then jimmys is the way to go. My go to dinner is always the steak teriyaki and scallops. I don't know how they make the marinade but it is unbelievable. So good that I have no desire to try anything else! Be prepared to walk out the door extremely full and satisfied :)

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here today. I got the 10oz prime rib. Very good and unbeatable price. $9.99! My wife got the combo steak tips and crab meat pie (only 12.99 by the way) - both were incredible. My prime rib was cooked a perfect medium rare. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was amazing as well. Excellent service all around. The place is clean and well run. We finished with the apple streusel dessert a la mode, which was wonderful as well. We sat and talked while we drank our coffee for a while and we didn't feel rushed at all. I don't rate places often and don't give out 5 star ratings often either. But this place is worth it. Great quality with excellent service at incredible prices for lunch. We'll definitely be going back.

My fiance took me to Jimmy's for my birthday and I was really surprised and happy with our dinner. First off let me say that if my steak is still bleeding, I will not eat it. It needs to be cooked. But not burnt or dried out. Yes... it is possible at the right place. Every single establishment we have gone to for steak has disappointed me. Jimmy's is quiet and semi fancy. The waitress we had seemed ticked off that we were in her section (we had asked to be moved to a bigger booth) but she was nice enough that I can't really complain. The bread was good. We ordered potato skins for our appetizer and they were SO good. Really would suggest getting an order of those. The salad was a little disappointing but its a side salad and I guess thats what you get seeing as your steak is the main attraction. So that being said - I ordered the steak tips well done. They were amazing. Still juicy but not bloody. Not tough and hard to eat or dried out. The rice pilaf was good. I stole some broccoli off my fiances plate and it was perfectly cooked. The prices for steak tips, a sirloin and potato skins was comparable to how much we would normall spend at a chain like Olive Garden or Chilis. We were suprised at that and we love that we can come get steak and not break the bank. We love Jimmy's and will definitely be back.

A very nice restaurant. Although the name would make you think this is primarily a steakhouse, the menu has as many fish and chicken items on it. We ordered the steak tips and the broiled haddock for lunch. Both were excellent and the portions were just right (not too much, not too little). They have an interesting menu concept for their lunch menu: the entrees include meat and potato (or rice) *only*. If you want a salad, you have to order that separately. As a result, the entree prices on the lunch menu are very low. So basically, if you don't want to pay for a salad, you don't have to. With their delicious fresh baked bread, for some people the entree would be more than enough. We'll be back!

Went to grab something to eat here sat. night, 9pm. Sat at the bar. Plenty of seats and the clientele was older. Got a Grey Goose cosmo, delicious and it was a free pour as opposed to a measured shot, delicious! Got the Buffalo Rangoons, filling was ok, they poured some buffalo sauce over them with bleu cheese crumbles on the plate (what the hell do I do with these?) I asked for some bleu cheese dressing, much better. Followed by a Jimmy's burger done medium, good burger, fries were hot, but blah. Service was attentive and professional. if you are looking for someplace to eat that is not real happening but the service and food is ok, this is your place.
