Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Stopped for dinner on a family road trip, picked it because of yelp reviews. We arrived about 20 min before they closed and almost didn't go in because the outside isn't exactly nice. Very glad we went in. The interior was surprisingly nice, the owner Kenny was awesome and great with our young kids, and the food was delicious.

Everything I have had here was excellent, but the sushi is definitely the best in the area. Staff is very friendly and often lunchtime diners are treated to live ethic music! Such a wonderful lunch spot.

I'm from Elkhart but live in Chicago. I come to Elkhart just to eat here.

I was unsure when we pulled up because a 'hole in the wall" can be either really amazing food, or not so much. However, on the recommendation of a friend I gave it a shot and was very impressed with both the service and food. I travel all over and will make sure this is on the menu on another trip to the Michiana area.

Absolutely the best Chinese food you'll find in the area, both here and at Johnson Street. The sushi is fantastic. The Egg Drop soup and House Fried rice are to die for. Very affordable too - you can eat here for under $5-$10! Get to know Kenny and Rona, and ask to be seated in Jack's section. Jack is awesome.

I've eaten here a few times and it's not a horrible place for Chinese food, but I can't give it more than three stars because it's not the best Chinese food I've had and I just wasn't impressed. Even though the food seems to be average, the service is very friendly and inviting. Overall, it's not a place I would avoid recommending, it's just not somewhere I will find myself going often.

My Partner and I love this place so much it is the only Chinese restaurant we ever go to. My partner lives in South Bend and I live in Chicago, we go every time I'm in town! The main waiter, Jack, even has our order memorized and is always entertaining. The family that owns the restaurant is so sweet and stop by our table to chat when we come in. The food is amazing! I grew up in an area with a lot of great Chinese restaurants and this place reminds me so much of home while also giving you a one of a kind experience. I highly recommend their seafood items and the wonton soup! My partner also loves the Crispy Mandarin Beef.

Favorite place around here to eat! Very very nice food, and amazing waiters. The price is around $8-$10 for lunch but it is VERY WORTH IT!!

Best chinese in the area. Kenny (owner, chef) and Rona (owner) also owned the smaller, hole in the wall, Johnson St location until they opened this larger, sit down location. They also added sushi (Rona makes it herself) which is very good as well. The food is more "home-style" than fancy presentation, prices are very reasonable, especially at lunch, very friendly (it helps to be a regular and get to know Kenny and Rona).

It's fine for what it is. The owners are really nice and the restaurant has a loyal following. Real Chinese..? No it is not. Good Americanize Chinese..? Depends on your standards. Americanized Chinese food can be good in its own right. This stuff is fine. I suspect if you really wanted something special, asked in advance, and paid beyond the lunch menu price (who can live earning $5 on lunches anyway), you may find something more satisfying. If you want something slightly more authentic, get jjampong. It is...slightly more authentic.

Hands down the best Americanized Chinese food in existence. I live in Indy and nothing compares to them. Every time I go to visit my parents, we always make a point to go there. The owners are absolutely amazing.

One of my favorite Chinese places. Hot food, friendly staff (esp Jack :) ) love the sushi! !!

Food is good but the prices are outrageous for the quantity of food i spent 30$ worth of food in small sized containers seemed more like a 20$ value

This place is great! Ask for Jack. He was a music teacher back in Japan and plays the pan flute for birthdays.

I visited because the person I went with really wanted to. I wouldn't go back. Service was speedy, which was nice on one hand, but also it's nice to have enough time to get your full order out before the waiter runs away. Food was less fresh than other places. I would much rather spend the same amount at Valley Restaurant in Granger and get fresher ingredients.

Best Chinese food in the area. Very reasonable prices during lunch, good sizes portions. Food is always great tasting and served hot. Service is great, always.

The original! The best chinese food in Elkhart County! Nappanee Street is good too and if you like sushi this is the place to go.

Man, we made the mistake of getting the sushi here. Which it seems rarely happens considering at first they didn't even give us a sushi menu. Some of it was hard as a rock, others tasted funny and some were just dry. Also it took them 40 minutes to make 5 rolls of three kinds.

I have dined at this restraint multiple times. I really enjoy the service. Nice, friendly people who attend to your needs. They have a waiter named jack. He is very inviting and shares stories (I find that unique and refreshing) I would like to say I normally am not a huge fan of Chinese cuisine, but this place is the exception. This restaurants is in my top ten restaurants. I enjoy the tso's chicken . It has a crisp, sweet orange flavor. The schezwan beef is delicious as well. I like the mix of savory and spicy in a rich brown sauce. We always get the pot stickers as an appetizer. The ginger sauce is second to none. I highly recommend.
