Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I'm going to keep this simple. I love their pizza. Taste is subjective, and the only thing I can say on my behalf is that I went to school in NYC, lived there for many years loving NYC pizza, and I've had pizza in Italy, and every other place in the world I've travelled, so those are my bona fides, not that it means anything other than I can compare one slice of pizza to another and nothing else. So I love Big Louie's pizza, and I could eat a slice right now.

Worst service. Went there to eat and didn't even make it pass the door, I walked in and I asked do I seat myself or do I wait since there was a waiting area. The girl responded, that's what it says on the sign. I have eaten in every restaurant in Florida. This is the worst and I told the manager and she said I'll let them know. Don't give your money to people who don't deserve it.

This is a great little Italian place. Easy to get to and from. Not the cheapest spot but still.. Expectedly the spaghetti and meatballs is excellent!

I really like Bug Louie's! I have been here about 5 times for lunch over the course of 7/8 months, both eat in and pick up, and have had consistently good food. I usually get pizza (sausage and mushroom) and the slices are gigantic. Two slices here is like 4 anywhere else. I always end up talking one home. I like thin crust and their crust is so tasty. The crust almost has a sweetness to it. I can't put my finger on what it is but it's delicious. I also really love their creamy Italian dressing for dipping! Their salads are also really good and their garlic rolls are pretty good. Only complaint is they tend to be very tough. I would prefer them to be a bit softer. I've never had their soup but someone I'm with usually orders a cup and I think it's been a hit or miss. Overall, you can't go wrong with their lunch specials. You get a ton of food for a great price! Service has been great every time I've dined in and when I carried out.

best pizza place in town! i have been going to Big Louis for years!!! and wouldn't get my pizza or Italian any where else! The staff is truly amazing and with that it gives it a small town feel, Delivery is always reasonably fast!

Love the Big Louie special pizza where you select 5 ingredients.. I always chose fresh garlic .. .as one of the 5ingredients (chain pizza places don't have fresh garlic). yum. Good sandwiches and desserts also

I will say that our servers each visit were very attentive and friendly. It is one of the reasons we gave this place two more tries but sadly this place is just not doing it for us. We really were hoping that it was just an off night or two but it seems that their taste (or lack thereof) is par for the course here, at least here in this location. Our last visit about a week ago and again ordering the Veggie Pizza we were disappointed that the dough seemed so flat and the veggies had almost no flavor. They tasted like maybe they were cut up in large quantities and frozen, only to thaw out as needed? Not going back and it is literally less than 5 minutes from our place. :(

Big Louie's is a small South Florida Italian chain, though it's more likely to be identified as a pizzeria. There are 7 locations between Hollywood & Boca Raton. This is a casual, small eatery with about 10 inside tables and a few outside as well. They are looking to expand beyond their South Florida market via new franchises, though I don't believe any are set to open. In short: Good pizza without all of the fuss. I enjoyed a great night out here with Mom & wife, we split an endless house salad, garlic rolls, a large white cheese pizza, and 3 drinks for about $25! We were all pleasantly surprised with the deliciousness of the food. Service was fine, not overly friendly, but we weren't ignored. Print some coupons offline and make this your Domino's/Pizza Hut/Papa John's substitute.

My son loves cheese pizza... I was never a big fan of cheese pizza until I ate here.. Best in Hollywood that I found so far...

I used to work in Hollywood and this was my favorite place to have lunch...I love their pasta dishes but my favorite is the Chicken Zingara which has a white wine artichoke-lemon base sauce, delicious. The food in my opinion taste homemade. I'm not a big pizza lover (with the exeption of Pizza Rustica) so I never had it, but my co-workers said it was good.

I really do not like the food here everything is greasy or just not tasty Pizza is blah Pasta with Red Sauce is just too watery Had the stromboli again red sauce is too watery and everything is just all grease. Im not a health consious guy and i like greasy food. But this was too much....... Service is great however, but i dont come here to visit my mother. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Last night we ordered a pizza delivered. This was the third time that we have ordered from Big Louie's. The first time, the pizza was good but each successive time the quality has gotten worse. Last night was the worst. There were supposed to be 5 toppings but we could only itentify 3 and not much of the 3 that we found. With the number of choices available in the Hollywood, FL area it is extremely doubtful that we will order pizza from them again. Also, being that we live no more than 5 minutes from them, I would have expected the pizza to be hotter.

I didn't expect much from Big Louie's. I was pleasantly surprised. The first few times I visited was during the lunch rush. Finding a table can be difficult. But, once you do, you'll be happy. There were plenty of lunch specials, including a 2 slices of pizza and a soda for a few bucks. The food has been consistently good. The service is great. I would NOT, however, ever order takeout from there. Either try to get a table, or have it delivered. The takeout line is horrendous. Since it is such a small place, there is nowhere to wait for your food. Not good. Just have it delivered. Trust me. A large one topping pizza is about $13 and has free delivery. If you are planning on going there, take a look at their website, as there are coupons to print out. For the area, Big Louie's is the best. Good food, cheap, fast. *Although this restaurant meets ADA standards, I would not call it wheelchair friendly. The booths are too close together to eat inside.

Very disappointing. I ordered a large pepperoni and hot wings the first time to go, and the quality/taste of both the pizza and wings were just... not good. I'm a bit of a pizza/wing snob and don't know how to describe this place other than that it's just not tasteful. The wings had a really WEIRD flavor and so did the pizza. I can't put my finger on exactly what was missing, but I did not enjoy it and was almost grossed out while eating. I gave the place a second try on a whim one day with my boyfriend. We stopped in to pick up pizza and a salad to take home and waited while it cooked. Ordered an antipasta salad (which was actually good but nothing to write home about) and a pepperoni pizza. Arrived home with pizza in hand only to discover that they had made me a plain cheese pizza - UGH! Guess it's partially my fault; I should've opened the box to check it when they handed it to me before leaving, but I guess I was just trusting that they couldn't possibly mess up an order so easy as a small pepperoni pizza. Makes me so sad because Big Louie's is in walking distance from where I live. I guess the search for good local pizza continues - if anyone knows of a place, please let me know!

The pizza is decent. It's hard to find really good NY style pizza in Florida. In my book, the best is still John the Baker in Cooper City.

Today is my fathers birthday and he choose Big Louie's Pizza as his choice of food and when he called to make the order with the coupon for the Large veggie pizza for $11.99 that expires on 11/31/09 that they sent to us... A woman on the line told my father that their not accepting the coupon that they sent to us in the mail. I personally called back and ask for an explanation as of the reason why their not accepting the coupon and the woman told me that it was a mistake... ummm How is it a mistake?!? Don't they recheck their unprinted coupons before printing and sending them off to residents houses? They should have honor the coupon regards to the mistake, its not the costumers fault... it's Big Louie's Pizza fault.
